In a recent broadcast of The 700 Club, host Pat Robertson made some rather disturbing comments regarding the adoption of children, especially children from other nations. Robertson argued that one can never know what type of problems an adopted child might have and that they might “grow up weird.”
Russell Moore of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary addresses Robertson’s shocking comments, stating,
Let me just say this bluntly. This is not just a statement we ought to disagree with. This is of the devil.
