Claiming to have never asked forgiveness, with rumors circulating that his conversion experience was mediated by charismatic false-prophetess, Paula White, and demonstrating the personal sexual ethic of well, Paula White, Trump’s credentials as a practitioner of Christianity theologically or ethically are dubious. …

However, Trump’s latest words regarding abortion demonstrate a desire – perhaps noble, perhaps political – to appeal to a Judeo-Christian ethic when it comes to setting public policy.

Delivering the State of the Union address, President Donald J. Trump declared the personhood of the unborn and castigated efforts to legalize infanticide up to the point of birth.

Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth: all children – born and unborn – are made in the holy image of God.
