For many years, the Southern Baptist Convention has been partnering with Cooperative Program Missions as a way to unite “all Southern Baptists together into a missions team fulfilling the Great Commission.” Baptist Press now shares the results of a recent survey of SBC pastors that questioned the leaders about the Cooperative Program:
The survey of 1,066 SBC pastors found 81 percent agree the Cooperative Program fuels an aggressive global enterprise of reaching the unreached people groups around the world. Similarly, 80 percent say the Cooperative Program provides partnership opportunities for local, state and national missions.
