This watered-down gospel, prevailing in the vast majority of what calls themselves “churches,” caters to a cultural craving for affirmation and comfort while discarding the inconvenient truths of Scripture…. It’s a grueling scene where many so-called “churches” have surrendered their duty to equip, teach, and evangelize. Instead, they’ve embraced an ethos of entertainment and delusional self-help motivational preaching that distorts the true function of the Church making a mockery of its God-given call.
