In light of these biblical truths, it is clear that the professing Church stands on the precipice of God’s righteous judgment. The falling away we witness is not merely a deviation from tradition—it is a wholesale abandonment of the faith once delivered to the saints. God’s patience has limits, and His righteous judgment will not be delayed forever.
(The Dissenter) As I was doing my morning reading, I was pointed to this article at Religion News Service (RNS) praising and celebrating the abomination of drag performances in churches, particularly, in the pulpit. This abomination is a clear indication of the modern professing Church’s utter degeneration. I know they say that there is nothing new under the sun, but this sure seems like a new invention.
I can’t think of a time in history when the professing Church was so celebratory of sexual immorality. Perhaps, though, this is exactly what Paul was addressing in 1 Corinthians 5 when he addresses sexual immorality in the Church—“a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans.”
