Before we get to Ray Fava’s report, our readers need to know that Pastor David Jeremiah, who is supposedly a conservative evangelical and solid Bible teacher, endorsed Jesus Calling, Sarah Young’s demon channeled devotional, and has on many occasions rubbed shoulders with Word of Faith prosperity preachers. Back in 2012 Ken Silva reported that Dr. Jeremiah lavished praise upon the late Paul Crouch who was the president of TBN and a word-faith heretic. While putting his arm around Crouch, Dr. Jeremiah introduced him as “one of my dearest brothers in the whole world.” Because of his questionable associations over the years, we agree with Ken Silva that “his discernment certainly leaves much to be desired.”

David Jeremiah is the pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in southern California. Jeremiah is most widely known for his dispensational preaching on end times eschatology. Last September David Jeremiah was hospitalized with an unknown virus that attacked his spine and rendered him unable to walk.
