Prayer might even be asked for as part of this. Yet the state has declared that anyone offering such counsel or even just praying for the person can be fined or imprisoned.
Far fetched you say? Simply change the addictive behaviour to unwanted same-sex attraction and you have the reality found in many Western nations. Those who offer advice, counsel and prayer to homosexuals who are struggling with their sexual desires are said to be engaging in “conversion therapy” and that is now against the law in much of the West.
The conservative voice and Christian content are being silenced more and more.
