(Revolver) Barron Trump’s call to his father after Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a left-wing trans-obsessed guy is heartbreaking because it reveals what years of left-wing political violence have done to one young man. Every time his father steps into public, Barron knows there’s a chance some random liberal might try to kill him.
Barron was only nineteen when Charlie Kirk was assassinated, and his first thought was his father. After watching Trump get shot in Butler and survive two other attempts on his life, he knows exactly what can happen every time his dad steps out in public.
That’s what makes his words so gut-wrenching: “This is what happens when you go out there,” Barron said to his father after Charlie was murdered.
For most families, “going out there” just means leaving home and running errands, seeing friends and family, or just enjoying life. But for Barron, it means watching his father step out of his protection bubble and wondering if someone will try to kill him again.
