(Roger Helle – The Patriot Post) During his presidency, Barack Obama said, “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.” Recently, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine said, “The statement that our rights do not come from our laws or our governments is extremely troubling.”
Both of these men are either historically ignorant or willfully deceptive. Due to my spiritual gift of “suspicion” (sarcasm alert), I lean toward the latter.
I’m neither a historian nor a political analyst, but I can read books. I suppose that’s why our overpaid and biblically ignorant teachers’ union leaders work so hard to bury our past and deny our history….
In many schools, students today are purposely denied the facts about the greatness of this country.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
The conservative voice and Christian content are being silenced more and more.
