“Resolution 9 was an endorsement of something called ‘Critical Race Theory’*** [which] basically says America is inherently racist, white people are irrevocably, inherently racist.”
(Steve Jordahl – OneNewsNow) Southern Baptists will be meeting in Orlando this summer for their annual meeting. The weekend before the gathering, some SBC leaders concerned with the direction of the denomination will be holding a rally of their own.
Southern Baptist pastor and Christian apologist Dr. Alex McFarland is planning the rally, to be held in the 2,000-seat auditorium at the Holy Land Theme Park in Orlando on the Saturday night before the big SBC gathering. He’s concerned with a leftward drift in the denomination over the past several years – specifically among those he says sit in an “ivory tower” and are contributing to what he calls “the pulpit/pew divide.”

Albert Mohler and the Gay Revolution – The purpose of this video is to evaluate the teaching of Dr Albert Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, on the subject of homosexuality. Mohler is encouraging the Church to embrace the issue of sexual orientation, a psychological concept that is entirely without biblical warrant. He accuses evangelicals of having lied about the nature of homosexuality and of practicing a form of homophobia. He fully supports the ministry of same-sex attracted Sam Allberry, a Church of England priest. His position is similar to that of the gay agenda, which seeks to normalize homosexuality in society and the Church.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ according to CRT:
In broad terms, the narrative tends to work along the following lines. The Gospel is less about God saving sinners from eternal condemnation through the righteous life, substitutionary death, and glorious resurrection of his Son than it is about God’s solidarity with the oppressed and his demand for justice. God identifies with the poor, the victim, the minority, the immigrant. God picked a particular group, the Jews, liberating them from slavery. He sent his prophets to speak truth to power, offending exploiters and giving hope to the exploited. He came in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, as an impoverished peasant, a refugee threatened by a murderous king, an immigrant born to an unwed mother. He sought social justice. He refused to submit to the privileged of his day and called them to let loose the chains of greed and power. So they killed him. They hung him on a tree. He was lynched because he refused to conform. But by his life and death, God himself says to the world that he is One with the victim, the stranger, the outcast, the refugee, the woman, the person of color. Wherever there is inequity, Christ is the victim. He calls all those occupying privileged social places to repent of their racism, sexism, and exploitation. — Matt Kennedy
