(James Barrett – Daily Wire) President Trump will make history Friday at the 47th annual March for Life rally in Washington, D.C. by being the first president to ever deliver his message in person at the pro-life event.
“President Trump will deliver an in-person speech on Friday at the March for Life, an annual rally held in Washington protesting the legalization of abortion,” the Washington Examiner reports, noting that Trump’s in-person speech will make him “the first president in history to appear at the march, one of the highest-profile events of the anti-abortion movement.”
The president’s decision to appear in person at the event, which drew some 100,000 marchers last year, was announced on Wednesday, Jan. 22, the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the ruling that legalized abortion and prompted the founding of the march nearly five decades ago.
