As many of you know I am a Southern Baptist. However, things sure have changed over the last few years. I have said in other posts how becoming Reformed in my theology helped me tremendously to both to become more mature as a Christian and also to become more discerning. I have also shared how it seemed that those of us who seemed to be able to withstand the seeker sensitive and emergent onslaught the best were Reformed….
We seemed to congratulate ourselves on this and, at the time, I thought that doing that was not such a good idea because our enemy who is very evil, is also very intelligent and knows how to defile everything man does. Then over the last few years it has come to our attention that many of the leaders in our Reformed movement have also become leaders in another movement. They have become “woke.” That is, they have become leaders in conforming their organizations to Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality. What does that mean? It means that the SBC and other large Christian organizations are conforming to Identity world views. How do you know if your church has been infected. Has your pastor or church leaders attempted to emphasize diversity in church membership, etc? If so, you’ve been had. As we look back at what was done and how it was accomplished by these devoted to their globalization agenda we can see clearly that we were dealing with the forces of our enemy who were dedicated to “ministry” via the practice of cunning in disgraceful, underhanded ways as they tampered with God’s Word for their own ends (2 Corinthians 4:1-2). That is not what we are called to nor allowed to do.
