Jordan Peterson underwent ’emergency detox’ in Russia, spent month in ICU, was suicidal, now ‘on the mend’

(Adam Ford – Disrn)  Popular author and intellectual Jordan Peterson has spent a harrowing number of weeks trying to detox from a physical dependence on the benzodiazepine clonazepam and has had a severe “paradoxical” reaction to the drug, made worse when trying to remove it.

[The drug] gives him “endless irresistible restlessness bordering on panic and inability to sit still” and “made him suicidal,” his daughter, Mikhaila, revealed in a video update Friday.
