The heresy has been re-packaged in modern times into what is known as the charismatic movement. Charismatics hold to the unbiblical position that the apostolic sign gifts, such as tongues, prophecy, and the gift of healing are still for the Church today.
While Brown has consistently aligned himself with extreme charismatics like Todd White, Benny Hinn, and Bill Johnson of the Cult of Bethel Redding, today, he tried to distance himself from one well-known false teacher who is steeped in witchcraft but stopped short of saying that she wasn’t “sincere” in desiring people to come to Jesus.
