Some of our trusted evangelical “leaders” do not have the brain power of a gnat, let alone spiritual discernment. That evangelicals would fall for the promises of Democrats who have been shown that they cannot be trusted time and time again is beyond belief. Aborting viable human beings is what people who are devoid of a conscience do. Why? Because Roe v. Wade gave them that “right.” For most Democrats, killing womb babies is not considered wrong. It is an entitlement.
Apparently these “pro-life Democrats” failed to read the Democrat Party platform which states that they are committed to “safe and legal abortions.” This includes abortion up to birth, by the way. As well, Democrats state that they will “fight to overturn federal and state laws that create barriers to reproductive health and rights.” They are also committed to forcing Americans to fund this abomination. That these men were “used and betrayed” by Biden-Harris comes as no surprise to pro-life conservatives. Using voters as a means to an end is exactly what we’ve come to expect from the Democrat Party.
With this background in mind, here’s Protestia’s report.
In one of the finest examples of “play stupid games, win stupid prizes,” known to man, the progressive group Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden are upset and crying foul that the Biden-Harris Presidency has kept to their campaign promises and passed legislation that is anything but pro-life.
Formed 5 months ago, these so-called “evangelicals leaders” worked to get Biden and Harris elected, all on the basis of somehow believing that the Democrats’ overall agenda was more “biblically balanced” than the Republican agenda. The group was spearheaded by Richard Mouw, President Emeritus of Fuller Seminary and TGC contributor, along with Ron Sider, President Emeritus of Evangelicals for Social Action.
