(The Dissenter) For a man who has dubbed himself the “Bible Answer Man,” he sure doesn’t strike much when it comes to the Bible. You may remember several years ago, I broke the story wide open that Hank Hanegraaff has departed the Christian faith to join the Greek Orthodox Church. That story went viral and I personally took a lot of heat, especially from the Orthodox community, that I was unwilling to label Hanegraaff and the Orthodox Church as true expressions of Christianity.
At the time, I predicted that it would just be a matter of time before Christianity would be abandoned altogether in favor of an ecumenical alliance for social or economic causes. Whether it be right or left, when you abandon Christianity, you have no problem joining with haters of God to promote political issues.
