One of my favorite Bible teachers at our church who was one who was a major part of my original discipleship after my salvation taught us that when we read in scripture and find a “therefore” at the beginning of a passage we should always back up and study the verses that come before to see why the writer put it there. This is one of those cases when we should do that. Therefore, I will post vv1-18 from the LSB right here.
