(Protestia) Renown Pastor Tim Keller has left the hospital where he was being treated for complications from pancreatic cancer and is receiving hospice care at home, according to his son who posted the update on social media.
Sharing that “He has expressed many times through prayer his desire to go home to be with Jesus. His family is very sad because we all wanted more time, but we know he has very little at this point.”
Keller was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2020, which turned to stage IV in 2021. The five-year survival rate is 1%, with most patients expected to live less than a year- usually around six months, but so far Keller has managed two and a half years.
