Islamo-leftists are strange bedfellows indeed. But both groups hate the same thing, so they are happy to work together for now.
And of course each side thinks it is using the other side to achieve its aims. But if history is anything to go by (just think of the fall of Iran under the Shah in 1979), it is the jihadists who will prevail and it is the left that will quickly be eliminated.
