(The Dissenter) In the Book of Proverbs, it is written, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Yet, as we cast our gaze upon the world today, we find a sharp deviation from this wisdom, an alarming departure from the traditional tenets of morality and the sanctity of childhood. We have become witness to a society that insists on immersing even its youngest in its fervent pursuit of rampant hedonism and societal self-indulgence.
We should remember the words of our Lord, Jesus Christ: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14). Childhood is a sacred time of innocence and discovery, a time to be cherished, nurtured, and guided with the wisdom of our forebears and the teachings of Scripture. Instead, parents are decking their children out in homosexual pride attire and grooming them to become the world’s next foot soldiers in the war against morality.
