(Marsha West – Christian Research Network) Easter evokes images of decorative baskets filled with all sorts of goodies, cool new clothes, church services, the annual Easter egg hunt, families and friends gathering together to enjoy a sumptuous meal. Doesn’t it seem a bit odd that people will spend an entire day celebrating a make-believe rabbit?
Today when Easter Sunday rolls around a good many Christians spend more time participating in secular events than celebrating the Resurrection of their Savior. Before I move on, I should point out that “Easter” is now passé. Wanting to remove the Christian origins of our language, secularists managed to change Resurrection Sunday to Easter Sunday and Easter break to spring break – all in the name of tolerance. Fortunately a large number of believers have caught on to their shenanigans and have gone back to using Resurrection Sunday instead of Easter. Continue reading
“The statement connects Christian faith to American public life, something most politicians are too cowardly to do.”
When I was a boy, my parents made me go to church every Sunday morning. I had no desire to go. I found the worship service boring and could not wait for it to be over so I could go play. But even worse than Sunday morning worship was the weekly catechism class, which was held on Saturday morning. That was the lowest point of my childhood experience in church. I had to go through a communicants class, then I moved on to the catechism class, where I and some other boys and girls had to memorize the Westminster Shorter Catechism. I endured it all just to become a member of the church and finish the course so my parents would be satisfied. I was not converted until several years later.
“It should go without saying that such luncheons themselves are a sign of excess and therefore unnecessary, but it is more egregious that it is used to subvert true doctrine to the pastors’ wives on the eve of many contentious battles.”
(John Solomon – Just the News) Former National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers told FBI agents that the crux of a Pulitzer Prize award-winning Washington Post story on the Russian collusion hoax was “wrong,” according to newly declassified documents obtained by Just the News.
Special Counsel Robert Hur revealed that while he would not charge Biden “for his handling of classified documents,” in a report, he described the former president as being an “elderly man with a poor memory.”
“White is not an ordinary charismatic. White engages in parlor trickery that must be learned, practiced, and honed. His leg-lengthening stunts, mentalism, cold readings, and street-level “healings” are all tricks learned and mastered by secular magicians.”
“The Biden Administration aggressively targeted everyday appliances like gas stoves, water heaters, washing machines, furnaces, dishwashers, and more, waging war on the reliable tools Americans depend on daily. These appliances worked perfectly fine before Biden’s meddling piled on convoluted regulations that made those appliances worse.”
“Some $400 million in unemployment benefit fraud was uncovered. Money went to the dead, to children under age five, and even to those yet to be born. Also collecting: almost four dozen of those who are criminals or on the terror watch list.”
“Hollywood can pretend identity politics and so-called “gender equality” matter more than fidelity to its source material, Lewis, and Lewis’ source material, Scripture. But if it follows through on the character sex swap, the point of the departure will be clear: We want none of your Christianity here.”
(Mary Dowling) A new massive study of 85 million people, COVID-19 vaccination and cardiovascular events: a systematic review and Bayesian multivariate meta–analysis of preventive, benefits, and risk, was published in the March edition of the International Journal of Preventive Medicine.
“Discernment grows through a combination of biblical knowledge, practical wisdom, and spiritual maturity. Conversely, discernment falters when someone doesn’t know the bible very well, doesn’t walk in biblical wisdom, and is spiritually immature.”
“A nation without borders isn’t a nation. It’s a bus station. And right now, the SBC leadership looks less like a band of spiritual shepherds and more like the world’s most gullible Uber drivers, shuttling lawbreakers straight into the heart of a nation they seem determined to dismantle.”
(John Solomon – Just the News) Two new bombshell reports this week pointed to a cover-up by the Biden-era Pentagon related to the search for COVID-19’s origins. New information is spilling out years after the fact and pointing to Wuhan and its
“NewSpring boasts over 10,000 members and thirteen campuses. Thirteen stages. Thirteen giving kiosks. Thirteen live-streamed sermons dressed up in leather jackets and emotional manipulation. That kind of operation pays dues. That kind of machine oils the SBC gears. When they leave, it’s not theology that’s threatened—it’s funding. It’s influence. It’s access. It’s market share.”
(Matt Margolis – PJ Media) The left has become so radicalized by its hatred of Donald Trump that it is beyond the point of differentiating between right and wrong. As we previously reported, a recent study from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) found
“He teaches us when he says in his Word about being content in all situations because he’s working out his plan and his purposes for his glory and our good, and I believe that because the Bible says that. It doesn’t mean there’s no pain, but content and knowing that God’s in control: a sovereign God’s in control, working out his plan and his purpose.”
“I just had a great call with the Acting President of South Korea. We talked about their tremendous and unsustainable Surplus, Tariffs, Shipbuilding, large scale purchase of U.S. LNG, their joint venture in an Alaska Pipeline, and payment for the big time Military Protection we provide to South Korea….”
“I’m not saying that obedience always brings happiness and sin sadness. Yet the Bible teaches again and again that “the way of transgressors is hard” (Prov. 13:15 KJV) and “thorns and snares are in the way of the crooked” (Prov. 22:5).”
Attorney General Pam Bondi responded to the Supreme Court’s decision and described it as a “landmark victory for the rule of law. An activist judge in Washington, DC does not have the jurisdiction to seize control of President Trump’s authority to conduct foreign policy and keep the American people safe. The Department of Justice will continue fighting in court to make America safe again.”
“Stop complaining about tariffs, expecting miraculous results after only a few days. A person who is overweight, unhealthy, and addicted to junk food won’t suddenly become healthy after just a week of dieting and exercising. Be patient, and don’t get wobbly. The tariffs from Trump’s first term did not trigger the predicted inflation. Allow the process to unfold instead of reacting with hair-on-fire histrionics.”
“They were marketed as relatable, down-to-earth, and winsome—code, of course, for doctrinally neutered, emotionally indulgent, and conveniently soft on everything that matters. Their rise wasn’t organic. It was orchestrated. If Christian publishing were a dating app, these lady-preachers were the algorithm-approved matches for a generation of women who think discernment is a spiritual gift for mean people.”
“Some had come from churches whose mystical practices, though alleged to be biblical, were not all that different than the mystical practices of the paganism they have embraced. Some people found more acceptance and community among the pagans. One of our team spent time in the hospitality room of the Satanists, and one of the first things the Satanists told him was that approximately 50% of their members are LGBTQA+ and Transgender.”
