A couple days ago I watched the memorial service for Charlie Kirk. One of the most moving parts of it for me was when Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, spoke. She spoke how the man who was accused of murdering Charlie was exactly like those who Charlie had dedicated himself to rescue from the evil trap the world system had captured them into. She also tearfully said that she was using Jesus’ example on the cross of forgiving his executioners in forgiving Charlie’s murderer. I had to ask myself if I could do that.
