Musk Can’t Take It Anymore, Declares He’s Going to the Border: We ‘Need a Wall’

“Musk did not say exactly when he was set to visit the border, but many jumped onto his posts to agree wholeheartedly with the X CEO’s ideas on the border debacle.”

(Warner Todd Huston – The Western Journal) Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk is apparently fed up with the dangerous border crisis that Joe Biden has created and has now agreed with those who say that America needs to build a border wall to act as a serious deterrent to illegal immigration. The Presence of God is a Dangerous Place to Be for Sinners

“So, to present a God who winks at sin or accommodates it in any form is not just an innocent mishap or a benign deviation from the truth, it’s a blasphemous misrepresentation of who God is.”

(The Dissenter) “The God that holds you over the pit of hell, much as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect over the fire, abhors you, and is dreadfully provoked: his wrath towards you burns like fire; he looks upon you as worthy of nothing else, but to be cast into the fire.” —Jonathan Edwards

This quote, from Edwards’ Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God, is one of the most well-known in American history and is emblematic of the Puritan emphasis on the holiness and justice of God, and the peril that sinners face in His presence…. Continue reading

A morality as old as Christianity

“Here is the same message The Nation seems to have just discovered on one of their sociological safaris to the American Heartland. Christians think sex belongs in marriage and that all life, even unborn life, should be protected and celebrated….”

(Colin J. Smothers) In C. S. Lewis’s The Pilgrim’s Regress, John the protagonist finds himself in Eschropolis (“Ugly City” in Greek), where the boys look like girls and the girls look like boys, and everyone acts obscenely in their avantgarde rejection of puritanism. Scandalized by what he encounters, John objects, only to be shouted down by one of the residents: “We have got over humanitarianism!” “And prudery!” shouts another. Funny, these impulses. Two peas in a pod. Continue reading

Impeachment memo: Biden family collected $15 million in foreign money, DOJ ‘obstructed’ probe

“The President had knowledge of many of his family’s business dealings, and indeed participated in them by having phone calls and attending private dinners—including while he was Vice President…”

(John Solomon – Just the News) The three House chairmen leading the impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden told fellow lawmakers Wednesday night that the president’s family collected at least $15 million in foreign funds and that there is evidence the Justice Department “obstructed” federal agents from pursuing evidence leading to the White House. A Biblical Example of Self-Righteousness

17 Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and pitiable and poor and blind and naked. Revelation 3:17 (LSB)

Self-Righteousness: the attempt to meet God’s standards based upon one’s own merits.

A thorough study of our Lord’s earthly ministry reveals with certainty the following truth. Our Lord was merciful in every instance to those who were broken, humbled, and spiritually helpless before Him. On the other hand, the proud, the self-righteous, and the self-sufficient He rebuked and shunned, which is thematically summarized for us by James our Lord’s brother in his epistle. Continue reading

Biden Bombshell: James Biden confirmed to FBI family tried to help Chinese firm buy US energy assets

(John Solomon – Just the News) resident Joe Biden’s brother told the FBI the first family – including Hunter Biden – tried unsuccessfully to help a Chinese company buy U.S. energy assets and did so believing the firm’s leader was tied directly to Communist Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to explosive new documents made public Wednesday by the House Ways and Means Committee.

James Biden told the FBI in an interview last year about efforts by him and Hunter Biden to help the CEFC energy firm in China buy a liquid natural gas facility on Monkey Island off the coast of Louisiana…. Continue reading

They’re Making a List, Checking It Twice — Is Your Church Naughty or Nice?

“The only reason there’s this debate about LGBTQ+-affirming churches is that the Rainbow Mafia demands acquiescence and will take nothing less. These days, we can’t simply love gay people for who they are; we must celebrate their lifestyles if we are to be in good standing with the Pride Mob.”

(Chris Queen – PJ Media) You can’t escape the Pride Mob these days, and it looks like your church won’t be able to escape it either. This probably shouldn’t come as a surprise to us, but a group at Oxford University in the UK has begun rating churches in the area based on their capitulation to the heresy of the LGBTQ movement. Debunking the Myths: How Continuationists Misrepresent Cessationism

“One of the most profound misunderstandings is the charge that cessationists “put God in a box,” claiming that He no longer heals or performs miracles. This is a gross misrepresentation. God, in His omnipotence and sovereignty, is free to act in whatever manner He chooses. The difference lies not in God’s capability but in the methods He has chosen to employ to carry out His divine purposes.”

(The Dissenter) Criticism of the doctrine of cessationism is hardly a novel phenomenon coming from the charismatic wing of professing Christendom. Yet in recent years, a concerning shift has become increasingly evident…. Continue reading

Tucker Carlson: Abortion Not ‘Political Debate’ but a ‘Spiritual Battle’

“But when you wind up in an election where the two top ballot initiatives, are one, encouraging people to kill their own kids, and two, encouraging their kids to do drugs — who’s benefiting here?”

(Katherine Hamilton – Breitbart) Tucker Carlson called out the Left’s relentless push to end the lives of the unborn in a recent address to Christians, contending that the issue of abortion is not a “political debate” but a “spiritual battle.”

The Center for Christian Virtue hosted Tucker Carlson for its gala in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 21…. Continue reading

The Business of Church Music: Examining the Legal Structure of Worship Ministries and Practice of Pastors Operating as Music Producers

“It boils down to two concepts diametrically opposed to each other. One is the concept of Christ, a blood-bought salvation, living in eternal relationship with a loving, caring God. That concept is in opposition to another called merchandising.”

(Barry Bowen – Trinity Foundation) Church music has become big business.

Ultimate Guitar reports that almost $600 million is spent annually on audio equipment and instruments for performing church music.”

Churches have become one of the most common venues for hearing live music. Continue reading

Timothy Keller: Turning Believers Into Unbelievers?

“Sadly, Keller did not follow Jesus’ example. Early in his article, “Creation, Evolution, and Christian Laypeople”, Keller described the opposition between creationists and evolutionists, specifically identifying professing believers and unbelievers who, like the rich, young ruler, doubt God.”

(Tom Hill) “…when the Son (Jesus) cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18.8)

Jesus never accepted unbelief! He challenged His own to believe fully; indeed, He often rebuked His disciples for their unbelief: Continue reading

Tucker Carlson Gives Stunning Interview: ‘Our System Is Collapsing in Real Time’

“Why aren’t most Americans getting that view? Because, according to Carlson, the establishment media is profoundly corporate and wholly uninterested in presenting it.”

(C. Douglas Golden – The Western Journal) Are we watching the global order that took shape after World War II — the so-called “Pax Americana,” with the United States as the dominant global political, military and economic power — “collapsing in real time?” That’s what former Fox News host Tucker Carlson thinks. The Mind of Christ

13 Who has encompassed the Spirit of Yahweh, Or as His counselor has informed Him? Isaiah 40:13 (LSB)

When we observe Christian leaders operate according to the world’s standards and methods with pastors taking on roles other than shepherd of the sheep then responding to righteous criticism with further deception, what we are actually witnessing are professing Christians not walking within the wisdom that is available to all true believers via the Mind of Christ. This same situation is seen in all who have been sucked into the “Innovation Cult” as well…. Continue reading

David Platt Steps Down as Lead Pastor, Assoc. Pastor Who Says He Wants to ‘Torch All White People’ to Take Over

“So who is Mike Kelsey? You may remember from a few years ago when we reported that Kelsey said in a podcast that he wanted to “torch all white people” because they weren’t woke like him.”

(The Dissenter) Men like David Platt—who spend the majority of their time in ivory towers barking commands at the rest of the Church to “stop being racist” while urging them to give up their own “positions of power” to people of color—have a really hard time wrapping their heads around why the common person is fed up with the woke movement and want nothing to do with it. Growing increasingly frustrated as David Platt himself pushes cultural Marxism from his own pulpit, it doesn’t dawn on Platt that these people are simply fed up with the unbiblical nonsense. The Destruction of the United States Is Intentional. Here’s What Will Happen Next.

(Kevin Downey JR. – PJ Media) For just over two and a half years, Joe Biden and/or his puppet masters (see Barack Obama, Susan Price, Klaus Schwab, etc.) have been successfully driving the United States to destruction. The plan took a four-year detour when President Trump was at the helm. Now, thanks to what many believe was a stolen election, the plan to enslave our comfy pants-clad bottoms is back on.

The commies began the operation decades ago. As Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov warned, the college professors and civil rights leaders indoctrinated — or as Bezmenov calls it, demoralized — generations of Americans and convinced them to hate their nation and, frequently, themselves…. Doctors Say COVID Is Indistinguishable from the Common Cold

(Mary Dowling – Independent Sentinel) COVID is becoming so mild that its symptoms now look like the common cold. The most common symptoms of the virus are now sore throat, sneezing, or congestion — the same as RSV, asthma, or a pollen allergy.

The reason is because most Americans are now immune.

In the early stages of the pandemic, COVID-19 had very distinct symptoms, such as a dry cough and a loss of taste or smell. However, the new variants are more infectious but less deadly. As a result, the symptoms of COVID-19 are now more similar to those of other respiratory illnesses. Continue reading

FBI agent says prosecutors thwarted Hunter Biden charges, corroborating IRS whistleblowers

(John Solomon – Just the News) An FBI supervisor has corroborated key aspects of two IRS whistleblowers’ testimony alleging that federal prosecutors slow-walked Hunter Biden’s criminal probe and declined last year to bring tax charges in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., according to an interview transcript reviewed by Just the News.

The female FBI supervisor, whose name the Justice Department asked be kept private in the transcript, was interviewed recently by the House Judiciary Committee, and she chronicled her interactions with IRS agents Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler and Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, the lead prosecutor in the Hunter Biden probe. Christian Unity

1 Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3 (LSB)

Our Pastor is preaching through Paul’s Epistle to the Ephesians. I am really enjoying it. Today, his sermon focused on the fact that Paul wrote this Epistle along with his Epistle to the Colossians from prison in Rome. When I wrote the manuscript for my book Complete in Christ back in 2021, I was amazed at how often I ran into passages in Colossians that my source material referenced back to Ephesians. It is Finished (tetelestai)

28 After this, Jesus, having known everything that had been completed that the Scripture may be fulfilled, said, “I thirst.” 29 A jar full of vinegar was there, so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on a hyssop branch and put it to his mouth. 30 Therefore, when he received the vinegar, Jesus said, “It is finished.” And having bowed his head, he gave up his Spirit. (John 19:28-30 translated from the NA28 Greek text to English)

Many of those with whom we earnestly contend for the faith have a problem with the absolute truth that is presented to us in the three verses above…. Continue reading

Christian Nationalism, G3, and the Church’s Duty to be Salt and Light

“The strategy of appeasement is futile and unbiblical. To those who would argue for a more compliant stance for the sake of societal harmony, I point you to the early Church, to apostles who rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer disgrace for the Name (Acts 5:41). The history of Christianity is a chronicle of men and women who chose to please God rather than man, knowing well the cost of such a choice. The same courage is demanded of us today.”

(The Dissenter) As I sit at the G3 Conference this week, I think about the raging debate between the Christian Nationalists and the Non-Christian Nationalists. While I am neither Christian Nationalist, in an official sense, (the term still seems not to have no definition) nor am I dispensational or anti-Christian Nationalist, I find myself in agreement with most of the speakers on what we as the Church face today. Hunting Hunter

“If President Biden has nothing to hide, he should release said records and reinforce CNN’s posture that there’s no evidence linking Joe to Hunter’s grifting.”

(Bill O’Reilly) Kimberly Strassel of The Wall Street Journal is an excellent columnist. On Friday, she reported that “suspicious banking transfers” were reported 170 times in transactions made by Hunter and Jim Biden, the President’s brother.

That may be a record. Continue reading

Jerry Falwell Digs Up The Bodies: Accuses University Leaders of Sexual and Financial Misconduct

He accuses Prevo of taking the University’s private jet on multiple personal trips to his homes in Alaska and Arizona, each trip costing $35,000 and $20,000 a pop, and Vines of conveniently receiving $100,000 in donations to ‘Jerry Vines Ministries’ from the school just months after joining their Executive Committee.

(Protestia) Disgraced former Liberty President Jerry Falwell Jr. has tossed a couple of grenades into the public view during his nasty lawsuit with his former school, accusing several former leaders of hypocritical sexual misconduct and financial impropriety. Continue reading
