“This is a very disturbing story that every parent should watch.”
(Revolver) We hear plenty about the separation of church and state, don’t we? The left loves to scream and yell over that. But where’s that same gusto for drawing a line in the sand when the government pushes its way into a family’s home and decides the parents’ beliefs are the problem, and the kids need hormones?
That’s what makes this story about Catholic parents Joseph and Arlene Kutzko so disturbing. These Massachusetts parents refused to recognize their daughter as a boy, and it cost them custody of their child. Now, they’re fighting the state over decisions that could affect the rest of her life, and theirs too.
When a child is being abused, neglected, or otherwise harmed, the state should step in and protect them. But refusing to use a male name for your daughter isn’t grounds for taking her away. Responsible parents who believe their child needs a mental evaluation before left-wing nuts start talking about hormones have a right to take care of their kids as they see fit.
The conservative voice and Christian content are being silenced more and more.
