1 I Beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye give up your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable serving of God.
2 And fashion not yourselves like unto this world, but be ye changed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God is. Romans 12:1-2 (1599 Geneva Bible)
One of the markers of genuineness in a Christian is separation from the World. This isn’t a physical removal from planet Earth or a disintegration of the body of a Christian. A genuine Christian’s character should be in a continual upgrade unto Christlikeness. That means that as he or she cooperates with God in their sanctification, working out their salvation with fear and trembling, their character will take on more and more of Christ’s character. They will love what He loves and hate what he hates. God is love, but He hates a certain type of love. Continue reading
(Jonathan Landry Cruse – Beautiful Christian Life) To understand the importance of the statement “faith alone,” we need to remember why the Reformers sought to recover the doctrine of God’s grace. They wanted to emphasize the fact that we are made right with God not through any merit of our own but rather through God’s own free grace. In Christ, we receive unmerited favor from God.
“Even just in the last 10 yrs, I see ministries like Ligonier retreating into the background. In my own denominations we have a variety of ministries, like Theopolis and Canon Press, as well as a variety of podcasts. All these things can be a great supplement to local ministries. We need theological and cultural commentary, we need conversation between pastors.”
(Marsha West – Christian Research Network) Sadly, “Christian” book sellers line their shelves with books that are clearly unbiblical. Books that put a positive spin on

“You’ve got 250,000 people making 60 million miserable. That’s not a long-term solution either. That’s just in Iran. That’s why you’ve got to take the long view, and the long view here could be just 60 days.”
(Breitbart) British military officers are embedded with CENTCOM in preparation for a long-term Strait of Hormuz freedom-of-navigation mission, and meetings have already taken place with like-minded allies, including France, Canada, and Japan, a report states.
“Modern Liberalism is just as heretical as was the theological liberalism of the early 20th century. It is heresy to deny the necessity of sanctification for believers as much as to deny the authority of scripture. To deny that Christ truly transforms his people in this life is as much heresy as it is to deny that he came to save.”
“Every American should watch that interview, which is posted on BillOReilly.com. But they won’t. The left-wing Trump haters and the right-wing isolationists condemn the military action against Iran. They don’t really care that an evil regime might develop a bomb that could kill millions; they simply believe what they want to believe.”
“Young voters can see the housing crisis, economic strain, their cultural unraveling, soaring crime, and the elite lies. The old slogans are stale.”
