It should be very concerning to Bible believing Christians that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints a.k.a Mormonism, is heavily involved in the production of The Chosen. Mormonism is a pseudo-Christian cult. Mormons are not true believers. How do I know that? Because I researched what the church teaches about God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Trinity, the Atonement and Salvation. The beliefs they hold do not come from Sacred Scripture. Mormon doctrine is the brainchild of founder and so-called prophet Joseph Smith. And yet Dallas Jenkins, creator of the series and a professing Christian, made a pact with the devil to produce The Chosen.
“Many Christians have expressed concern with Mr. Jenkins partnership with the LDS church,” stated Ingrid McCullough. “Yet, he brushes off these concerns as irrelevant.” Ingrid reminds us that “Partnering with a cult that endeavors to be seen as Christian is dangerous.”
John Lanagan of The Word Like Fire posted a satirical video that was made to slam the biblical opposition. John writes:
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. (Gal 6:7)
God is not mocked.
The biblical opposition to the show, The Chosen, seems to have struck a nerve. On the The Chosen Facebook page is a picture of a billboard featuring “Jesus” of The Chosen. In what is meant to appear a vandalistic act, the words Chosensux.com appear to have been painted over the billboard.
