Chicago YMCA Changes Guidelines to Allow Boys to Use Girls’ Locker Rooms, Vice Versa

Christian News Network reports:

YMCAA number of YMCA locations in the Chicago area have been instructed to follow new guidelines that permit boys who identify as girls to use the girls’ locker room, and vice versa.

The Chicago Tribune reports that a mother at one of the locations recently approached staff after she saw a teenage boy using the girls’ locker room, but employees later learned that the teen identified as transgender and therefore his presence was permitted.

“From [the mother’s] perspective, there was a man in the locker room,” Rae Ulrich, senior vice president of marketing for the YMCA of Metro Chicago, told the outlet. “But there wasn’t. There was a transgender individual in the locker room.”

Wake up, brethren! Evangelicals are being lured into a web of deception by Church leaders we trust. Read the article we’re posting and you’ll find out who some of these people are.

They’re wolves!  Run!!

For those who missed all the hype, on July 16 an event called Together 2016 was held at the Washington Mall.  Thousands of professing Christians gathered together to pray for Jesus to “reset” the country and their lives.  Sadly, attendees at the mall and on live stream were unaware that the event was rife with false teachers.  They didn’t know that speakers and entertainers braved the blistering heat for one purpose: to reset the Reformation!  What was the rallying cry?  UNITE!  With who?  Our Catholic “brothers and sisters.”

In a piece over at Herescope, Gaylene Goodroad documents the NAR/dominionist’s plan to unite Protestants and Catholics.  This is MUST READ for all serious Christians.

Slain officer’s touching Facebook message days before death

Fox News published AP’s heart-wrenching story:

Baton Rouge BadgeJust days before he was shot and killed Sunday morning, a Baton Rouge police officer posted an emotional Facebook message saying he was “physically and emotionally” tired and expressing how difficult it was to be both a police officer and a black man, a friend said Sunday.

“I swear to God I love this city but I wonder if this city loves me,” Montrell Jackson wrote.

He said while in uniform he gets nasty looks and out of uniform some consider him a threat.

“I’ve experienced so much in my short life and these last 3 days have tested me to the core,” the posting read.

Six Indiana Planned Parenthood Locations to Close Over Declining Business

Christian News Network reports:

Six Planned Parenthood locations in Indiana will close by the end of the year due to declining business, most notably since women are obtaining contraceptives elsewhere and Pap smears do not need to be as frequent.

Moreover:

The International Business Journal reports that the organization believes the greatest factor in the decline for business is that the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommended in 2012 that women obtain Pap smears every three years instead of annually. It said that it used to conduct 60,000 Pap smears a year.

God’s Warning? “Heat” Shuts Down Apostate “Together 2016” Event

Bud Ahlheim of Pulpit & Pen offers his view of the big weekend event “Together 2016” that was put on by promoter Nick Hall and The Pulse.  Sadly, Hall has chosen to follow in the footsteps of Purpose Driven Pope Rick Warren who is herding the sheep down a very dark path. Warren has been chided for failing to “properly assess the critical differences between biblical theology and Roman Catholic theology regarding the doctrine of salvation…” Evangelicals such as Warren, Hall and many other Church “leaders” who are going all out to unite with apostate Rome seem to have forgotten the many reasons for the Protestant Reformation. According to Matt Slick,”it was to combat the many false teachings that the Roman Catholic Church had adopted through the centuries.”

Now listen to Alheim spell out why he believes “Together 2016” was rife with apostasy:

Rick Warren and Pope Francis

“If you love Jesus, we’re on the same team” Southern Baptist pastor Rick Warren once chirped. But what about Roman Catholicism’s false teaching regarding salvation and devotion to Mary?

The heavily marketed, highly touted, and Scripture-denying “Together 2016” event was held on the National Mall in Washington, DC on Saturday, July 16. Thousands gathered on the mall and watched by live stream for the purported purpose to pray for Jesus to “reset” the country and their lives.

The stream of celebrity evangelical “leaders,” pastors and musicians across the stage was essentially a who’s who of heresy. For the discerning believer who may have tuned in, markedly absent from the frenzy was a sense of reverence for a Holy God to whom appeals were being made to “fix our problems.”  Oh yeah, the real Gospel was conspicuously absent too.

Of course, the discerning believer will have recognized the real Jesus from the multitude of fictional ones being called upon from the stage’s center circle. The real Jesus would have not twisted Scripture to claim for America promises intended His chosen nation Israel. The real Jesus would not have bellowed out a repentance-free message of love, hope, and personal fulfillment. The real Jesus would not have jerked verses out of Scripture, encouraging listeners to name them and claim them for His, and their own, glory.

Nice – The Islamists Have Already Won

Bowling pinsFollowing is one man’s strong opinion on the state of the world since the merciless slaughter of innocent men, women and children was unleashed by radical Islamists. Bill Muehlenberg of Culture Watch points out that more and more people are becoming frustrated with so-called world leaders who continually make excuses for what they deem the “religion of peace.”  He laments that after umpteen terrorist attacks our “leaders” sit idly by and do nothing.  And by doing nothing they are aiding and abetting the terrorists.

Bill included an excerpt from a piece by English commentator Katie Hopkins who clearly has had enough of all the PC nonsense.  Hopkins wants action.  She demands solutions — now! “This is not sustainable,” she writes.  “We are not bowling pins. Ready to be knocked down and replaced by the naive, the believers in multiculturalism. Imagining there is tolerance. Your hashtags and pretty pictures might make you feel better. But they solve nothing. You are self-medicating on nonsense. We need action.”

So with this background in mind, listen to what Bill Muehlenberg has to say about the great lengths the mainstream media will go in their attempt to exonerate terrorists:

The Left’s Climate Change Hysteria

According to Nicholas Loris of The Daily Signal:

In the latest bout of political theater, 19 congressional Democrats took the stage of the Senate floor Tuesday to attack free-market organizations for allegedly spinning a “web of denial” on global warming. Casting the right to free speech aside, the senators are spinning a web of climate hysteria and economic illiteracy.

Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., said, “We have to be open to different points of view, but when the science is settled and people who know better are fighting against it, we should know better.”

In other words, as far as liberals are concerned, it’s now a self-evident truth that climate change is urgent, catastrophic, and man-made, and the only way to stop it involves massive government intervention.

Legal Group Seeks Dismissal of Homosexual Activists’ “Crimes Against Humanity” Suit Against Pastor

Christian News Network reports:

SilencedA nationally-recognized religious liberties organization is seeking the dismissal of an international lawsuit filed by an African homosexual activist group, which accuses an American pastor of committing ‘crimes against humanity’ for speaking out against homosexual behavior in the country.

As previously reported, Massachusetts Pastor Scott Lively, author of “The Pink Swastika,” had visited the nation of Uganda in 2009, where he spoke on what the Bible says about homosexuality and expressed support of pastors in the country that were working to oppose the proliferation of sexual activity between those of the same gender.

Several years following his visit, the group Sexual Minorities of Uganda (SMUG), filed a lawsuit against Lively, asserting that he had violated international law because his words allegedly encouraged government persecution against homosexuals in the nation. The group also alleges that Lively was a part of a “conspiracy” to deprive homosexuals of their rights.

Hillsong: Heresy Goes Hollywood

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.  Jude 4

Brian HoustonJude could have been talking about CEO and co-founder of Hillsong, Brian Houston. Houston’s critics–and there are many–claim he is a consummate liar; thus, he cannot be trusted.

But that’s not all.  Another concern people have with Brian Houston is that he holds to heretical Word of Faith theology. This is bad news for Hillsong fans because the “good news” they should be hearing is not the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Not even close.  Hillsong’s music is rife with the false prosperity/health and wealth gospel that saves no one.  According to Bud Ahlheim of Pulpit & Pen, “The ‘Jesus’ proclaimed by Houston is not the Jesus of Scripture. And when you worship, or even participate with idolatry, it’s nothing less than the worship of demons. (1 Corinthians 10:20)”

There is so much more to be said about this wolf in sheep’s clothing.  Not only are there lies but also cover-ups.  As always, Bud Ahlheim doesn’t mince words as he takes Hillsong to task.

“52 Congressmen made decisions for Christ” – Rodney Howard Browne

Berean Research explains why we must be skeptical of any claim made by the man who is known as the “Holy Ghost Bartender”:

There are 435 members of our U.S. Congress. Apparently 52 of them said the sinner’s prayer with (NAR) New Apostolic Reformation pastor Rodney Howard Brown during the recent Celebrate America 2016 event in Washington, D.C. If you’re a numbers person, that’s roughly 12 percent of our U.S. Representatives who are reportedly “baby Christians.”

“We visited every office of the House & Senate and were able to pray the prayer of salvation with 633 at the Hill. We had 52 Congressman and 4 Senators that said the prayer of salvation with us,” says Browne, calling the event a “Great Spiritual Awakening.”

“Very clear signs of trouble” at Trinity Broadcasting Network as revenue shrinks, attractions close

According to Teri Sforza of The Orange County Register, TBN “was built on the ‘Have a need? Plant a seed’ philosophy, or what critics call ‘the prosperity gospel.’  The idea is that if you give money to God, God will send riches back to you.  Trinity’s tax filings suggest the seed hasn’t been sprouting as it once did.”

Pence introduces Trump at rally that doubles as VP audition

Yahoo News reports:

Republican Donald Trump campaigned alongside Indiana Gov. Mike Pence on Tuesday evening, the latest in a series of public auditions as the billionaire businessman mulls his vice presidential pick.

Walking onto the stage to cheers, Pence confidently introduced the presumptive GOP nominee and vigorously advocated for Trump as the best person to lead the country. The speech made clear that despite his mild-mannered reputation, the governor and former Congressman could serve the role of attack dog if Trump taps him as his running mate.

“Donald Trump hears the voice of the American people,” Pence said, saying that the billionaire “understands” the country in a way no one has since Republican icon Ronald Reagan. His voice raised, Pence drew thunderous applause when he warned of dire consequences if Democrat Hillary Clinton is elected.

Rick Warren gets bolder in promoting breath prayer

Berean Research reports:

Several years ago when Rick Warren promoted the pagan mantra technique of Centering Prayer on his Pastor’s Toolbox site, the post was yanked down when concerned Christians became alarmed and spoke up. Perhaps he was dipping a toe in the contemplative water to see if others would join him in the shallow end of the mystical pool.  Since that time though, the Saddleback pastor has been getting bolder in his contemplative prayer posts. (Last year for instance, he spoke at the Hillsong 2015 Conference and taught contemplative prayer techniques.)

This post from last week tells us that in spite of the warnings from those concerned about New Age seeping into the church, Warren has no problem with breath prayers, centering prayers or any other mystical practices:

Perry Noble removed as pastor at NewSpring for personal behavior related to alcohol

According to Greenville Online:

About 2,000 members made the warm walk across the NewSpring Church parking lot in Anderson for each worship service Sunday morning.

Few were fully braced for the news that awaited: Perry Noble, the only senior pastor the church has known, has been removed from his duties.

Williamston Town Councilman Rockey Burgess said the news “did come as a shock” in the 9:15 a.m. service, even though recent rumors had prepared him to a degree.

“Everybody was kind of shocked,” Burgess said. “But the church isn’t made up of the preacher, and the church doesn’t worship the preacher. The church is the people who go there, and we all love one another.”
