The New Evangelical False Gospel of Unity

“Jesus came not to bring peace, but a sword (Matthew 10:34). He did not come to tell everyone that they could believe what they want to believe, worship whatever idols they want to worship and seek whatever God they want to seek.”

There tends to be a great amount of resentment towards discerning believers who are quick to confront other Christians who are in sin or even false believers who are masquerading as Christians. The argument is that it distracts from the love of Jesus and unity among the brethren.

Titus 3:10-11 is possibly one of the most twisted passages of Scripture used against discerning believers.

As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

Unity has become the gospel in modern Christendom. Ecumenism is the new rage. Everyone is into it.

So then why kill the buzz? Isn’t it good that everyone is getting along?  View article →
