We see in this chapter of Scripture the two sons of Adam bring before the Lord their offering. It’s apparent at this time that certain aspects of the Levitical laws were already established at least foundationally….
God taught Adam and His lineage that they ought to bring a sacrifice to the Lord to make atonement for sin. The sacrificial system in this text, however, was only a shadow of the coming sacrifice that Christ would make with His own body on behalf of His people.
