He was wearing a bright pink jacket and a red hat that said, “Make Australia Godly Again.” I’m not sure why he singled me out. Just days before the presidential election, witches tried to curse Donald Trump. According to the Toronto Star, a group of 100 witches cursed him in unison over a Zoom call. Another group of Alabama-based witches told their followers that spells don’t work because Trump has a shield over him thanks to the prayers of Christians. One witch wrote, “He has a shield, a flimsy one of course, but a shield nonetheless (I am trying to figure out a way to create spells that can bypass that, but it’s difficult).”

Some celebrate everything that took place at the memorial as a work of God’s Spirit, insisting that any discernment is evidence of cynicism or a critical spirit. Others fail to see any work of God’s Spirit because of the elements that did not meet Edwards’ biblical criteria for such a work.
