(Allum Bokhari – Breitbart) Apple is threatening to ban social media platform Parler from its app store unless it cracks down on constitutionally protected speech that Apple doesn’t approve of, a move that would effectively exclude the app from all Apple smartphones.
Parler is a top-performing app in the App Store, frequently taking the top spot in downloads as censorship on other social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter has escalated. Continue reading
“The media are cheering on the lists of Trump supporters being amassed by the Left in order to cancel them and keep them off of boards of directors, academia, and other institutions. A Leftist website with the Orwellian name “The Truth Accountability Project” has answered the call of the Jennifer Rubins and AOCs to keep a list of those who must be purged from history.”
“Naturally, this post was co-signed by a host of fellow progressives, with Beth Moore being no exception.”
“Trump’s presidency will end, but it’s unclear where he goes from here. The Republican Party as we know it also is over; the GOP’s disloyalty to the president and his voters in the final stretch will not be soon forgotten. And Republican control of the Senate during the Trump era ends just how it began, in making a bargain to do the Left’s bidding and ultimately acting as the Democratic Party’s useful idiots.”
“Senator Josh Hawley has been fingered as the scapegoat in the mob attack on the Capitol. It’s not exactly clear why. It could be that he was the most visible Senator who, in a completely legal and constitutional fashion, challenged the results of the Electoral College. You may believe he was right or you may think him crazy. Whatever your opinion, what he did was perfectly legal.”
“Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson made this observation: “[t]he political debate between the right and the left seems to be moving forward in a manner that indicates the fundamental robustness of the institutions of democracy in the U.S.” Peterson’s observation is no longer accurate — our democratic institutions are anything but robust. The political debate is flirting with civil war as progressives in Congress and on social media gang up to censor conservative viewpoints.”
“When we are tempted to trust in some particular person or political party to provide deliverance and security, we have a vain hope. The God who made heaven, and earth, the sea and all that is in them, is the One who provides deliverance and security for His people. This God has secured a city that has foundations–a lasting city–for His people.”
“Unfortunately, Keller is not an evangelical anomaly. While he was giving theological justification to those who would betray their faith and defect to the opposition with their votes, popular Baptist pastor John Piper was encouraging Christians not to vote at all. In a recent blog post, he maintained that Republicans aren’t morally rigid enough.”
“Senate Republicans made nary a peep as unscientific lockdowns backed by governors of both parties destroyed sectors of the once-thriving U.S. economy, kept kids out of schools for months, and shuttered churches. The alleged party of liberty and freedom prostrated before the altar of pseudoscience and the almighty Dr. Anthony Fauci.”
“Creating one public health crisis on top of another is of no consequence to the profiteers making money on a bipartisan basis. The Big Pot business guarantees more obedient slaves who will vote to keep the goodies (or marijuana gummies) coming, and result in more financial donations from the slave masters marketing marijuana to the kids and then turning over blood money to the politicians.”
“The mainstream media continues to pretend that there’s nothing hinky with the election results or myriad reports of voter fraud. It will be interesting to see if they pick up this story about the 400-plus intel pros looking into the election.”
(David Blackmon – Whatfinger) The Democans and Republicrats who make up the UniParty in the U.S. Senate were back in action on New Year’s Day. – They voted 81-13 to override President Trump’s veto of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The President had chosen to veto the bill because it did not contain language that would repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, the clause that protects the Big Tech companies from being subjected to anti-trust enforcement over their anti-American censorship actions.
Weitnauer states that he became convinced in Sept 2020 that “Ravi had personally and repeatedly lied to me and others in the ministry about his relationship with her” and confesses that like others, his “longing for the approval” kept him from “asking hard questions and accepting the painful truth much sooner.”
“Church discipline, then, is essential because the Lord commands it. Jesus Christ has declared church discipline to be essential, and churches must treat the process accordingly by committing themselves (and training their people) to follow the steps mentioned above.”
“The sheer scope of the destruction may be couched in statistics, but it can be seen in empty storefronts, deserted streets, and food bank lines in cities across the country. It’s an act of economic warfare with no precedent in our history waged against a very particular group.”
“Governments should undertake more effective interventions. These include adopting better measures to protect nursing home residents, enabling nationwide screening through the widespread use of rapid self-tests, and establishing voluntary isolation centers where infected people can recover, rather than exposing their families to infection.”
“Christian Nationalism” essentially is just another way of saying white evangelicals, who make up about a fourth of the American voting population, are bigots and racists. Another heaping helping of critical race theory, anybody?
“What I see is a lot of people only care about Black people if they’re in the womb. They don’t care about Black people once they’re born.”
“Several of these movies and other movies not mentioned here contain other graphic scenes including the glorification of violence, drugs and alcohol, and blasphemous foul language.”
“It is at best an embarrassment on par with fellow televangelist Rick Wiles and his meatless burger conspiracy, Paula White’s incoherent babbling, and Kenneth Copeland’s freakish laughing fits. At worst, it’s blasphemy.”
Who were the year’s heroes, its villains and, above all, its victims? And which figure in American politics fits the bill for all three?
“Woodson condemned academics who allowed the concepts of critical race theory to percolate through on-campus debates but are now banning dissenters who reject the theory’s central tenets.”
“I think Black Lives Matter is a demonic joke straight out of the pit of hell. Black lives only matter if white people are involved. If 60 black youths are killed during a July 4th weekend, the world’s media don’t care. If some celebrity was found to pose in black-face 30 years ago, the press would circle them like sharks.”
