The “offensive” tweets that got Phil permanently suspended are posted in the article.
(Protestia) The estimable Phil Johnson, Executive Director of Grace to You, founder and former curator of The Spurgeon Archive, and one of our favorite people ever, has been permanently suspended from Twitter after he decried the stationing of drag-queen crossing guards at elementary schools as “state-sponsored grooming.” Continue reading
(The Dissenter) There is so much in this world masquerading as “Christianity” and this blog endeavors to equip believers to be able to discern what is good from what is evil. In fact, in the like-mindedness of Charles Spurgeon, it’s more important to be able to discern what’s right from what’s almost right. In a spirit of true concern for the body of Christ, and never out of selfish ambition, we are called to expose error—even subtle error—and point people to the truth of the gospel.

“We’ve taught a Jesus that’s an idol. It’s not the real Jesus. We’ve taught a Jesus that says that ‘love’ means being nice to everybody all the time. Well, when I read my Bible, Jesus wasn’t very nice. He was not very nice most of the time.”
“Video of the encounter was taken by Kalen D’Almeida of TPUSA, and it appears that Secret Service agents who witnessed Biden’s creepy remarks weren’t happy with him documenting it.”
“Baptist preacher Rick Warren said, “Pope Francis is doing everything right.” Well, Rick has himself made many overtures toward Muslim leaders. It appears that we are all expected to disregard the truth of the ages and sit around holding hands with unbelievers over hot chocolate and brownies while an international choir sings a little off-key, Kumbaya.”
“What they may get is a report by Durham that will curl your hair. Indeed, Durham’s already laid out shocking details in his previous court papers and testimony in the Michael Sussmann case. That’s where we learned from Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign manager that the candidate green-lighted the fake Russia Trump Alfa Bank operation.”
(Capstone Report) The Woke organization behind the misguided $100 million He Gets Us Campaign gave over $700,000 to SBC entities including a $701,000 grant the entity formerly led by Russell Moore, according to federal tax records filed by the organization The Servant Foundation and doing business as The Signatry.
(Barry Bowen – Trinity Foundation) Most evangelical Christians have never heard of “prophet” Chuck Pierce and his “family business” Glory of Zion International. Pierce is a widely respected individual among charismatic and Pentecostal Christians who believe that God is raising up a
“According to some reports, billboards are already showing up all over some American cities that boast messages such as “Jesus was an immigrant,” and “Jesus let his hair down too.” Really idiotic stuff. But this is who Southern Baptist leaders want you to help fund with your tithe dollars.”
“Making threats against doctors and hospitals should be prosecuted. But we all know how the Justice Department would interpret “threats,” and Republican AGs are drawing a line trying to keep Garland from straying into viewpoint suppression.”
“The foolishness of this PR campaign for Jesus is going to be the next big push for social justice in the Church. Most Evangelicals are now on board with the social justice gospel and this is the logical next step—to make Jesus look like a carnal social justice warrior. But, lest you be led astray, understand that this has nothing to do with Jesus and the gospel.”
“….most people probably didn’t realize there are a couple of Latter Day Saint artists in those performers you know, and they’re some of the most beloved….”
“This removes the entire legal basis for the COVID passport, the COVID passport that led to massive institutional discrimination as people lost access to essential parts of society,” Roos said. “I find this to be shocking, even criminal.”
“His profession of faith is not credible.”
“While we can appreciate a lot of the conservative political work that Glenn Beck does, it often becomes too easy to fall into the trap of believing that these people share the same religious convictions as we do—but we do not.”
Mistake? The only mistake PP made was making it obvious.
Even if the sticker incident was nothing more than just a dumb idea and there was no intent to groom children, it shows that at least in some quarters, we have religious leaders who do not take their faith seriously. Churches have become mega-malls with coffee shops and bookstores, and loud house bands with killer visual effects. The Gospel has been replaced with phrases like “doing life together” and “it’s all about authentic relationships.”
“I have been saying this for years now: the secular left does not just want to be left alone to do their own thing. They want – indeed, demand – your approval, celebration and promotion. They want you to bow the knee to their agenda – or else.”
(Selwyn Duke – The New American) Our leftist social “engineers have not redefined marriage,” I wrote in 2012, repeating a warning I’ve often issued. “They have undefined it.” And “while they scoff at the claim that legalizing faux marriage paves the way for polygamy and everything else, an ‘undefinition’ excludes nothing,” I
“This latest scenario makes much more sense than the virus appearing in December. Viruses don’t just suddenly appear. The CCP kept it secret for months if this is true. Additionally, they wouldn’t let their citizens travel within the country but allowed them to travel the world.”
