The Doctrine of Unconditional Election is not for sissies. What I mean by that is if we adhere to this doctrine then we had better be ready for those in unbelief to attack us with their broadsides and accusations. It seems that every Pelagian out there, whether full blown Pelagian or semi-Pelagian or Arminian, is convinced that Man is not dead in his or her trespasses and sins and is fully able to elect God or not. Of course, none of their arguments hold any water because they are derived either from man-centered philosophy or from Bible verses taken out of context (eisegesis). On the other hand, the Doctrines of Grace are all completely Biblical and are based entirely in Holy Scripture expositions done exegetically. Continue reading
Facebook suspends pro-family expert for criticizing LGBT indoctrination video
Gagnon noted that the “vast majority of Christians worldwide” continue to regard homosexuality as sinful into the present day, and that a “male-female foundation for marriage and thus for all sexual ethics” was unmistakable in the Bible, making it remarkable that Facebook would deem it hateful to merely “presen[t] the orthodox Christian view of the matter.”
(Calvin Freiburger – LifeSiteNews) A theology professor is the latest Christian to be censored by Facebook after criticizing a video selling LGBT “pride” to children.
Dr. Robert A.J. Gagnon is a New Testament professor most recently with Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. On June 6, he criticized a video produced by the taxpayer-funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in which media personality Jessi Cruickshank asked young kids whether it would be “cool to have two moms,” told them how actress Jodie Foster “made me question my sexuality” with a nude scene, urged them to “aspire to be a gay icon,” and more.
VA Hospital Replaces Military Flags with Gay Pride Flag
“The Gay Pride flag was only scheduled to fly for a day to ‘signify that we treat all our veterans equally.’”
(Todd Starnes – Fox News) The VA hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana is making national headlines after they temporarily replaced flags representing the branches of the military with the Gay Pride flag.
The VA acknowledged the controversy, but defended its decision to temporarily remove the Service Flags.
“Due to limitations in the number of flag poles outside our VA, the Service Flags were lowered temporarily,” a statement read. “Rather than take one flag down temporarily, it was determined to lower all the flags so as to be equal.”
Drive-By Media Bombarding Americans With ‘Manufactured Crises’ to Distract from IG Report, Robust Economy
“But Democrats and their accomplices in the media don’t care about the truth or the children because they are ‘manufacturing a crisis out of something that has been going on for years’ to vilify Trump, distract from the IG report and the booming economy Trump has fostered, [Rush] Limbaugh argued.”
(Alicia Powe – Gateway Pundit) The liberal media has been manufacturing crises ad-infinitum to divert the public’s attention away from the Trump administration’s tremendous achievements and the Democratic establishment’s corruption, conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh warns.
While Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s damning report proves the FBI colluded with the Hillary campaign to exonerate her in the email investigation, Democrats are bombarding Americans with fabricated propaganda about Trump’s “heartless” immigration policy, which consists of the president enforcing the already established laws, Limbaugh explained Tuesday. ‘About 60 Organizations’ Are Considering a Lawsuit Against the SPLC Following $3M Nawaz Settlement
“The SPLC promotes false propaganda, demonizes and labels groups they disagree with, and that labeling has economic as well as physical consequences.”
(Tyler O’Neil – PJ Media) No fewer than 60 organizations branded “hate groups” or otherwise attacked by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) are considering legal action against the left-wing smear factory, a Christian legal nonprofit leader confirmed to PJ Media on Tuesday. He suggested that the $3 million settlement and apology the SPLC gave to Maajid Nawaz and his Quilliam Foundation on Monday would encourage further legal action.
“We haven’t filed anything against the SPLC, but I think a number of organizations have been considering filing lawsuits against the SPLC, because they have been doing to a lot of organizations exactly what they did to Maajid Nawaz that’s part of the settlement,” Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, told PJ Media on Tuesday.
Holy Living Proof of the Reality of Christianity
Set them apart in the truth; your word is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world. And I set myself apart on their behalf, so that they too may be truly set apart.
I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they may be in us, so that the world may believe that you sent me. (Read verses 22-26 on the site)
These wonderful verses form a fitting conclusion of the most wonderful prayer that was ever prayed on earth–the last Lord’s prayer after the first Lord’s Supper. They contain three most important petitions which our Lord offered up in behalf of His disciples. On these three petitions let us fix our attention.
Bono Rips Trump For Enforcing Immigration Law After Supporting Legalized Abortion
(Paul Bios – Daily Wire) After endorsing legalized abortion in Ireland, U2 frontman Bono has donned his Christian facade again to condemn the Trump administration’s separating children from their families at the southern border in accordance with laws enacted by Congress.
Bono has made no apologies for endorsing the practice of permanently separating a child from its mother in the womb; now, he’s quoting scripture regarding U.S. immigration policies.
“For those who would use the Holy Scripture to justify tearing children from the arms of their mother… we put the record straight,” Bono hypocritically said to a crowd of fans.
Three Unmarried Adults + One Baby = A Family in Canada
“I have no reason to believe that this relationship detracts from the best interests of the child,” said the judge.
(Elizabeth M. Economou – LifeZette) A recent ruling in Canada is raising more than a few eyebrows — and is showing contempt for traditional parenthood in a flamboyant way.
A court in Newfoundland and Labrador has recognized three unmarried adults as the legal parents of a child born in 2017 within their “polyamorous” family, the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) reported.
It appears to be a legal first for the Great White North.
Child Border Crossers Have Higher Standard of Living than 13M Impoverished American Children
Migrant children who cross into the United States either alone or with adults have a higher standard of living once they are put into federal care than the more than 13 million American children who are living in poverty across the country.
(John Binder – Breitbart) In Fiscal Year 2017, the federal government referred nearly 41,000 unaccompanied minor border crossers to the Unaccompanied Alien Children program which is facilitated by the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
Data provided to Breitbart News reveals that each unaccompanied minor costs the federal government about $34,660 annually. This is a higher standard of living per child than the roughly 13 million American children who continue to live below the U.S. poverty line.

Kylie Jenner Gets Trashed For Wishing Caitlyn Jenner A Happy Father’s Day
“On Father’s Day, Kylie Jenner posted old photos of her father, Bruce Jenner, pre-transgender surgeries, captioning the post, ‘so lucky to have you.'”
See photos on the site
(Amanda Prestigiacomo – Daily Wire) Kylie was just a teenager when her father, a former gold medal-winning Olympian, “came out” as transgender. Now going by the name Caitlyn, Jenner is still biologically male but presents himself as a female. Kylie’s sister, supermodel Kendall Jenner, told a magazine in 2015 that they were still allowed to call Caitlyn “dad.”
“My dad is my dad, but he’s not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad — that’s the last little piece of dad I’ve got,” she said.

Read the Scripture: Acts 19:8-20
When Paul came to Ephesus he found the city in the grip of superstition, fear, demonism, and darkness. It was a city devoted to sex and to religion — in other words it was the San Francisco of the Roman empire. The great temple of Artemis was located there and was as familiar to the people of that day as the Golden Gate bridge is to us. It was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Tourists traveled from all over the Roman empire to see it, just as they come to San Francisco to see the bridges and cable cars.
In the nineteenth chapter of Acts, Luke gives us a fascinating account of how the gospel can reach and affect an entire city, and even its surrounding province, through a relatively small band of Christians. The church has forgotten for a long time that God never wins his battles by majority vote. He always uses a relatively small band of people who, working with a different approach than the world has available, are able in a fantastic way to affect whole cities, whole areas, whole nations by the effectiveness of their methods and the power that is available to them. This is what the church has forgotten and we need so desperately to rediscover it, as we are now doing in many ways.
Revoice Conference Bans Pro-Christian Activist from Attending, Refunds Registration Fees
“LaBarbera tweeted out that Nate Collins, the former SBTS faculty member and Revoice organizer, contacted him to return his registration fees and inform him he could not attend.”
(Pulpit & Pen) In case you’ve yet to hear, the Revoice Conference is an event designed to celebrate “Queer Culture” within the Christian Church, to “de-sin” Same Sex Attraction (SSA), and to move American evangelicals to abandon a traditional, historic and orthodox understanding of human sexuality. Although a conference like this is standard fare among mainline liberal denominations like the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), the Presbyterian Church USA, or the United Methodist Church, embracing and celebrating celibate homosexuality is not typical among more conservative denominations like the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) or the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). … Continue reading
Solving Misogyny- You’re Doing It Wrong
When Christian women are being sinned against by Christian men, is the answer to “elevate” women to places of leadership? An unequivocal No! says Bible study author, speaker and blogger Michelle Lesley. Then what should Church leadership do when there’s abusive behavior toward women? According to Michelle, God has made the answer crystal clear in His Word, which she reveals in this blog post. Additionally, Michelle points women to some scriptures that will lead them to a place where they’ll find favor with God. She writes:
If God is the God of Romans 8:28…
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Continue reading
Up Next: Normalizing Pedophilia
“Heine claims ‘one to two percent’ of men, or about 60 million men worldwide, are pedophiles. That’s a lot of folks who can never find love. There are so many child lovers that, she says, every audience member must know one. ‘Anybody can be born a pedophile.’ Born.”
(William M. Briggs – The Stream) There stands Mirjam Heine center stage. She smiles as the TEDx Talk audience greets her at the University of Wurzberg. But this is the wrong emotion. For she is here to tell us something horrible, something heartrending — something that should not be.

Americans grapple with recognizing facts in news stories
(Reuters) – Only a quarter of U.S. adults in a recent survey could fully identify factual statements – as opposed to opinion – in news stories, the Pew Research Center found in a study released on Monday.
The survey comes amid growing concerns about so-called fake news spread on the internet and social media. The term generally refers to fabricated news that has no basis in fact but is presented as being factually accurate.
Facebook Inc , Alphabet Inc’s Google and other tech companies have recently come under scrutiny for failing to promptly tackle the problem of fake news as more Americans consume news on social media platforms.
The Beginning of Prayer
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, Where are you?
(Gen. 3:8-9)
This is the beginning of prayer. It is suggested here that this was a habitual thing in the lives of Adam and Eve. It is rather remarkable, but the first prayer is recorded only after the fall. Yet the account suggests very plainly that prayer had been a continual delight and blessing to Adam and Eve, and was daily a part of their experience. This seems to be a habitual action on God’s part. He comes into the garden in the cool of the day to converse with the two that had come from his creative hand, and together they talked in the garden.
Fathers, Remember the Future
A Reminder for Fathers by Voddie Baucham
As fathers, it’s important to note that the gospel is eschatological—it is our hope not merely in this age, but also in the age to come.
First, the eschatological nature of the gospel means we do not view our families as ends in themselves. Family shepherds are not men working to shape perfect families that will meet all their earthly needs. On the contrary, we know that Christ alone can meet our ultimate needs, and that he will fully do so only at the end of this present age. We also know that our family ties are temporal, and it’s our ties to the body of Christ that matter eternally. Hence, our greatest desire is to lead our families to the feet of Christ, not to our own.
PHOTOS: Inside Shelter for Illegal Alien Children Separated from Parents
“The facility at El Cajon, however, is not a ‘cage.’ It is a comfortable facility providing lodging, meals, clothing, medical care, education, recreation, counseling, and other services.”
(Joel E. Pollack – Breitbart) The Department of Health and Human Services hosted Breitbart News and other media on a tour of a facility in El Cajon, California, on Friday where migrant children are being sheltered after being separated from their parents.
The children are separated from their parents — or, to be precise, from the adults accompanying them, who may or may not be their parents — when their parents cross the southern U.S. border illegally and are caught and detained. Continue reading
Cruz Presses Zuckerberg for Answers About Facebook’s Alleged Bias Against Conservatives, Bible
“Facebook conceded it is often a judgment call by the company in deciding what it deems to be hate speech, or otherwise objectionable, based on the guidelines it has established.”
(Randy DeSoto – The Western Journal) Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, followed up his in-person questioning of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg before the Senate Judiciary Committee in April with over a 100-question (76 page-long) written interrogatory, focusing heavily on issues of political and religious bias.
Viva le resistance: How political bias infected FBI Trump, Clinton probes
“In the end, Horowitz pronounced himself ‘deeply troubled’ by some of the expressions of bias. He was particularly troubled by Strzok’s ‘We’ll stop it’ comment, which Horowitz concluded was ‘not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects.'”
Language alert!
(Byron York – Washington Examiner) It didn’t take long for defenders of the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation to claim that the Justice Department inspector general’s report found no bias in the bureau’s conduct of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, nor in the early days of the Trump-Russia probe. Christ Prays for You
“Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.” (John 17:11b RSV)
This is the great prayer Jesus prayed before he went to the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus is leaving these disciples by means of the garden, the betrayal, the judgment seat of Pilate, and the cross, and to them it appeared that he was abandoning them. They felt frightened, helpless, alone, and unable to understand what was taking place. They could not see that our Lord was merely introducing a higher and a better relationship to them. To Unpack Roma Downey’s Box of Butterflies Is to Discover a Core False Teaching
New Age, Roman Catholic mystic Roma Downey has a new book to sell. So she has turned to several evangelical luminaries to help promote her book. Check out who the people are who “rave over Roma’s every word.” Names are included as well as a few key words/phrases taken from their glowing testimonials.
But this is not about so-called evangelical leaders who endorse the work of false teachers like Roma. Lois Putnam of Learn to Discern Granny has written a stellar review of Downey’s book Box of Butterflies: Discovering the Unexpected Blessings All Around Us: Continue reading
Six Key Points From the DOJ Inspector General Report
The third exchange we identified was on November 22, 2016. FBI Attorney 2 sent an instant message to FBI Attorney 1 commenting on the amount of money the subject of an FBI investigation had been paid while working on the Trump campaign. FBI Attorney 1 responded, “Is it making you rethink your commitment to the Trump administration?” FBI Attorney 2 replied, “Hell no.” and then added, “Viva le resistance.”’
(Katie Pavlich – Townhall) DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a long awaited report Thursday afternoon detailing FBI behavior during the 2016 presidential election. Here are some important points found in the report: Continue reading
Forgiveness: The Missing Message of the Social Justice Movement
“Why aren’t these SJW’s (Social Justice Warriors) preaching about forgiveness? That is a hard question to answer. Maybe they are afraid the victims in their congregations will disagree and turn on them.”
(Steve Evans) Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” ~ Matthew 18:21-22
In my last article on Evangelicals and Racism, I asked the question, “When will Christ be enough?” This was in response to the constant calls for people to repent of racism they may or may not have committed. These calls have come from both white and black preachers alike, with ringleaders such as Thabiti Anyabwile, whose real name is Ron Burns, Matt Chandler, David Platt, Kyle J. Howard, J. D. Greear and all the way down to local pastors. Racial and social justice seems to be the “IN” thing to preach on these days, and, quite frankly, many of us of all skin colors are getting tired of it. When God Abandons A Nation
It is always instructive, it is always enlightening, it is sometimes literally scintillating to turn to the pages of God and see what it has to say and how relevantly it speaks to our time and to our lives. That will be true tonight as we turn in our Bibles to the first chapter of Romans. Romans chapter 1 and we’re going to be looking at a somewhat familiar portion of Scripture to anyone who is a student of the Bible. Romans chapter 1, beginning in verse 18 and running through the end of this chapter.
I’m going to read just the first verse to set the stage for the unfolding of this profound truth.Romans 1:18, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” Continue reading
