Defending the Inspiration of the Whole of Scripture Against Modern Skeptics

(The Dissenter) The Word of God stands like a mighty mountain, steadfast amidst the shifting sands of human culture and philosophy. Yet, we see attempts at every turn to chip away at this divine edifice, to cast doubt upon its authenticity and to discredit its authority. Skeptics tirelessly assail its fortifications, seeking to find cracks in the walls, discrepancies in the testimonies, or contradictions in its messages. It’s a relentless endeavor to pit one part of Scripture against another, to create discord where there is harmony, and to cause confusion where there’s divine clarity. Continue reading

Tucker Carlson tells Russell Brand he was fired from Fox News right before revealing Jan 6 riot was ‘filled’ with feds

(Post Millennial) Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson dropped a massive bombshell during his recent guest appearance on the Stay Free podcast, telling show host Russell Brand that the crowd outside of the US Capitol at the time when riots took place on Jan. 6, 2021 was “filled with federal agents.”

American journalist Tim Pool discussed the revelation on Friday’s episode of Timcast IRL, noting that Carlson conducted an interview with former US Capitol Police Steven Sund, who was fired by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just after the Capitol riots.  Continue reading

The Story of Us: we preach not Jesus, but ourselves.

“Rather than focusing on Christ’s death, burial and resurrection as testified by a multitude of reliable witnesses and written in advance throughout the Scriptures, many Christians today have chosen to proclaim a different gospel entirely. This new and improved gospel is The Story of Us. This story is one that is perceived to be much more credible and effective than the story of Jesus, because, unlike the story of Jesus, it can’t be refuted. The end result is that we’ve inverted Paul’s statement in 2Cor 4:5—we preach not Jesus, but ourselves.”

(Shane Rosenthal) In her book, Spirituality for Dummies, Sharon Janis writes, “In a nutshell, spirituality relates to your own personal experience and relationship with the divine…Dogma can muddy the waters of a spiritual path.” Similarly, in his book Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch writes that “leaders, ministers, books, and even the Bible itself are not authoritative sources.”… Continue reading

Prominent Charismatic Says Famed Prophet Bob Jones Was a Time Traveler

Many Christians lack spiritual discernment; thus, they are unable to properly distinguish between true and false teaching. If you watch the video at the end you will see a wolf in sheep’s clothing telling his congregation a blatant lie because he knows these people will believe anything he says. We know from 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 that those who have spiritual discernment have the ability to distinguish truth from error, as “we have the mind of Christ.” Sadly, the people who attend this man’s church do not have the mind of Christ.

Now to Protestia’s piece:

Bobby Conner is a member of the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders (ACPE) and a member of the Harvest International Ministries apostolic network, chaired by NAR warlord Che Ahn. After 27 years as a Southern Baptist pastor, he founded Eagles View Ministries. Continue reading

Why Full Belief in the Whole Bible is an Essential Doctrine of the Christian Faith

“In light of this, to claim adherence to Christ and simultaneously reject the Bible’s authority in its entirety is a spiritual oxymoron. Christ’s voice is the Bible. It is His words, His teachings, His truths, revealed to mankind. If one believes in Christ, one must, by the same breath, believe and obey His voice—the Bible, in all its immutable fullness.”

(The Dissenter) An unsettling trend of disregard for biblical inerrancy and authority has swept through the modern church, ushering in an era of half-hearted fidelity to the Word of God. Popular false teachers like Andy Stanley, who spends the majority of his time belittling the Scriptures and caving to the demands of the modern pagan culture, have paved the way for the erosion of Scripture’s absolute authority…. The Unfathomable Depth of Spiritual Blindness

8 And then that lawless one will be revealed—whom the Lord Jesus WILL SLAY WITH THE BREATH OF HIS MOUTH and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming— 9 whose coming is in accord with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of unrighteousness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 And for this reason God sends upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness.2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 (LSB)

God’s truth, which is the truth and there is no other, is true regardless of whether people believe it or not. I pray for wisdom and discernment every morning before I go to work. God answers this is surprising ways sometimes. One way He does this is when I receive an email or comment from one who is opposed to what we teach here…. Continue reading

Most Southern Baptist Leaders Worship a False Jesus

“Jesus does not compromise with us. He does not barter or negotiate His teachings—they are not commodities to be traded. They are unassailable edicts from the Most High, immutable and timeless.”

[The Dissenter) This morning, I stumbled upon a tweet that sparked a sudden revelation or insight within me. The problem with the Southern Baptist Convention is that so many Southern Baptist leaders and pastors desire a false Jesus—one who is willing to compromise with their desires of the flesh. More Proof the Arizona Election was Stolen!

(Mark Schwendau) Jay Valentine, who built eBay’s fraud protection engine, reports, “The voter fraud actually happened. The voting machines were connected to the internet, and it was industrial-level fraud that was committed.” He also offers the nuts and bolts of how this was done in detail. He is getting more attention these days as 2024 inches ever closer.

Valentine’s explosive report on changes made to the voter rolls in Arizona right before the deadline and- in some cases, after the deadline, offers some astounding numbers…. Continue reading

How the inspiration of Sacred Scripture benefits the Church

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NASB)

If you pay close attention to the enemies of the truth, apostates, heretics, and pagans, they all attack the doctrine of the Inspiration of Sacred Scripture. In this post we will take a closer look at the five things that, since Scripture is Inspired, for which it is profitable or useful or helpful…. Continue reading

Going After Joe

“Here’s what we know to be true about this very troubling situation.”

(Bill O’Reilly) Let’s keep things simple. My model for this column is the movie “A Few Good Men.” You may remember the scene where Jack Nicholson, playing a Marine Colonel, is on the witness stand being interrogated by a Navy lawyer played by Tom Cruise.

Nicholson: “Are we clear?”

Cruise: “Crystal.” Continue reading

Why Do You Love Your Sin So Much?

By Marsha West

The story you’re about to hear is based on true events.

One of the things I most enjoy about small-town living is the ease of grocery shopping. The local grocery store is less than five minutes from here and I rarely find myself in traffic, which was always the case when we lived in California.  In this town, you’re in, you’re out, and you’re home quicker than a men’s Olympic slalom skier speeding through the gates…..unless you run into someone you know while navigating the aisles. Following is my condensed recollection of a situation that occurred on aisle four.

Darts And Arrows

A couple of years ago, a longtime self-professed Christian friend and I had a parting of the ways when, to my dismay, she finally came clean about some of the occult activities she had become involved in and had decided to keep to herself because she enjoyed what she was doing and didn’t want to hear a lecture from me.

It didn’t happen overnight, of course. Dawn (made up name) gradually drifted into false teaching, until she was immersed in it. She went from attending a conservative church to a church that successfully indoctrinated the congregation into the New Apostolic Reformation cult’s man-centered theology.

When I noticed Dawn coming toward me my first thought was to do a quick U-turn to avoid an uncomfortable situation. But that didn’t happen. She stopped in front of my cart, smiled and said, “Well this is a surprise. I was just thinking about you!” After a few pleasantries she chirped, “I got up this morning and the Lord told me to expect a special blessing today.” Continue reading

Slander or discernment?

8 But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9 And do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 Do not be called instructors; for One is your Instructor, that is, Christ. 11 But the greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. Matthew 23:8-12 (LSB)

This discernment ministry stuff is not for everyone. I often wonder if I am cut out for it at all. I do not like conflict. On the other hand, God gifted me with the makeup that loves the truth and seeks justice because it is His truth and I am compelled, quite often, to speak out when false prophets besmirch His truth and the Gospel is treated as optional by certain “evangelicals.” However, there is a fine line between exposing that which is false and slander. That fine line has to do with intent and evidence. Continue reading

What we learn from our sicknesses

“Above all, our sickness should drive us to our knees in prayer. God can heal the sick. And even if He chooses to delay this longer than we might want, we should thank God for controlling the world even on days we cannot control even our little part in it.”

(Simon van Bruchem) It is that time of year when everyone seems to be getting sick. I had a virus a few weeks ago and many family members and friends have been taking time off work. There also seems to be a higher than usual amount of people with more serious, long-term illnesses. Like with all aspects of our lives, we should ask: “how does this help me serve Jesus? What does this tell me about God?” Continue reading

Societies That Surrender Moral Foundation Historically Self-Destruct

“The proliferation of the transgenderism movement, fueled by Marxist ideologies, within our public education system is concerning enough. However, the decision to dedicate an entire month to celebrate moral degradation is a step too far. While I am not advanced in years, I never envisioned a day where transvestites would lecture us on human biology, or sterilizers would pose as health professionals advocating for human rights. It seems that our nation has descended into a state of utter madness, where men can now claim pregnancy and the number of genders rivals the alphabet.”

(Allen Mashburn – American Greatness) Despite its origins in the historic Stonewall Riots of 1969, “Pride Month,” which concluded last week, has devolved into a manifestation of moral decay in 2023. Continue reading

Globalist Dutch Government Collapses, PM Mark Rutte Resigns, as Pro-Farmer Populists Threaten to Upend Establishment in Upcoming Elections

The upcoming elections represent a “real chance of getting our country back” and to fight back against the “expropriation of our farmers, push back on immigration, and take back our national sovereignty from organisations like the EU and the WEF.”

(Kurt Kindulka – Breitbart) The fourth government of Mark Rutte, 56, the Netherlands’ longest-serving prime minister, collapsed on Friday evening as coalition partners were seemingly incapable of coming to a compromise on the issue of migration and asylum policy. This marks the third time since coming to power in 2010 that a Rutte government failed to complete a full term in office. Continue reading

CDC admits not including diagnostic codes showing COVID vax as ’cause’ on some death certificates

“The suit includes a 123-page exhibit analyzing death certificates Beaudoin claims either wrongly omit vaccine-induced deaths or falsely attribute them to COVID.”

(Greg Piper – Just the News) The CDC’s explanation for leaving certain diagnosis codes off Minnesota death certificates that cite COVID-19 vaccines as a cause of death, allegedly hiding vaccine injuries in federal records, shows “intent to deceive,” according to a person who helped analyze the death certificates for the Brownstone Institute, a think tank that challenges the scientific basis for COVID conventional wisdom and policy. The Danger of Entering Temptation

9 “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’] Matthew 6:9-13 (LSB)

In this post we will look at the danger of “entering temptation.” There is no doubt that most believers walk in defeat in this battle much of the time. On top of the guilt and self-abhorrence that are natural products of Christians sinning, there is also the battle fatigue that comes upon them which results in more guilt simply for being “tempted” in the first place. Of course, much of this can be blamed on faulty theology and an extreme drought in the area of teaching the Biblical truth about sin and temptation from our pulpits and Bible studies. To understand the danger of “entering temptation” we must first understand what it is and what it is not. Continue reading

Charismatic Pastor Says He Commanded a Tree to Be Healed, and It Was So

“Name it and claim it” heresy, insist[s] that believers can manipulate reality simply through faith-filled declarations.

(The Dissenter) A popular heresy among charismatic false teachers is little-god theology, or the belief that we as humans carry within us the potential to become God, or divine like God. This is not only a heresy found among charismatics, however, it is the underlying teaching of Mormonism–that our future as believers are to partake in the divinity of God and become gods ourselves. Tom Cotton Sets Stage to Nail Hunter in WH Cocaine Charge

“Who has access to the White House complex without passing through any security screening?”

(Jonathan Jones – The Western Journal) Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas set the stage to force the Secret Service to reveal the identity of the cocaine culprit inside the White House in a letter to the agency’s director on Wednesday.

On Sunday, a white substance was found in the West Wing as the building was briefly evacuated. Continue reading

The Gospel Coalition Promotes Gay Christian YA Novel

Page 92 “…there is nothing wrong with those feelings. … There is nothing sinful about temptation alone – Jesus himself was tempted. It is what you do with those feelings that matters.” This is not biblical because homosexual attractions are not natural and temptation is external not internal, as Jesus did not have Original Sin.

(Ray Fava – Evangelical Dark Web) In the wake of Side B theology running rampant in the church, The Gospel Coalition is promoting a young adult novel that focuses on a “gay Christian teen” with messaging that bypasses the Christian sexual ethic. TGC Australia promoted the book Colors by Patty Guthrie in a review titled Fictional Representation of a Gay Christian Teen: Colours by Patty Guthrie. Continue reading

Whistleblower Gal Luft: ‘I May Have to Live on the Run For the Rest of My Life’ For Informing U.S. Gov. About Biden’s Influence Peddling

(Debra Heine – American Greatness) Dr. Gal Luft, the Israeli whistleblower who has been on the run since April, detailed his bribery allegations against the Biden family in an extraordinary new video obtained by the New York Post.

As American Greatness previously reported, Luft was arrested on weapon trafficking and other charges in Cyprus last February and disappeared after he was let out on bail. After his arrest, the former Israeli army officer tweeted that the Biden administration was out to “bury” him. Continue reading
