“Let me be clear,” [Clemishire] said. “There is no such thing as consent from a 12-year-old child. We were never in an ‘inappropriate relationship.’ I was not a ‘young lady’ but a child. You committed a crime against me.”
(Protestia) Former megachurch pastor Robert Morris has pleaded guilty to five felony counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child, admitting that he sexually abused Cindy Clemishire when she was just 12 years old.
In a negotiated plea agreement, Morris, 64, was handed a 10-year sentence but will only serve 6 months before being released. Upon his release, Morris will have to register as a sex offender and pay Clemishire more than $250,000 in restitution. Continue reading
“I tell people what they need to hear. What God has told me to tell them. They need to repent from their sin and start doing what’s right. They have to straighten out.”
(Dave Jenkins – Servants of Grace)
(Protestia) The Anglican Church is poised to lose tens of millions of members across Africa and Asia following the appointment of Sarah Mullally, 63, as the first woman Archbishop of Canterbury and leader of the Anglican Church. Her appointment comes months after her predecessor, Justin Welby, resigned over his failure to deal with and report sexual abuse in the church.
“According to Seth Gruber, pro-life activist and founder of the White Rose Resistance, the Left has sought to redefine what “pro-life” consists of well beyond the original and narrow focus of aiming to end the murder of preborn babies. “Leftists know that the best way to get naive Christians to jump on their bandwagon is to label their agenda as either a gospel issue or a pro-life issue,” Gruber observes. “But he who fights everywhere fights nowhere.” In other words, Hewlett is engaged in a divide-and-conquer strategy.”
The controversy erupted when Daugherty shared a clip from Burchett’s appearance, where the Tennessee representative labeled Netflix’s agenda as “evil and demonic.”
Just days before the presidential election, witches tried to curse Donald Trump. According to the Toronto Star, a group of 100 witches cursed him in unison over a Zoom call. Another group of Alabama-based witches told their followers that spells don’t work because Trump has a shield over him thanks to the prayers of Christians. One witch wrote, “He has a shield, a flimsy one of course, but a shield nonetheless (I am trying to figure out a way to create spells that can bypass that, but it’s difficult).”
“Many Christians fall too heavily on one side of the other. Some celebrate everything that took place at the memorial as a work of God’s Spirit, insisting that any discernment is evidence of cynicism or a critical spirit. Others fail to see any work of God’s Spirit because of the elements that did not meet Edwards’ biblical criteria for such a work. During the Great Awakening, people fell on both sides of these issues as well. As Edwards helpfully explained, wherever there is wheat there are also tares, and wherever the Spirit of truth operates, the spirit of error opposes. Faithful Christians seek to see both aspects clearly, celebrating the one and exposing the other.”
“The world applauds, the people are deceived, and judgment is certain. For the Lord will not share His glory with another, nor will He suffer His name to be invoked over pagan rites. Rome has chosen her gospel. And it is not Christ.”
“Good morning and welcome to the War Department because the era of the Department of Defense is over,” Hegseth told the gathered brass. “From this moment forward, the only mission of the newly restored Department of War is this: warfighting — preparing for war and preparing to win.”
“God will bring those He wants to hear the truth, to us. Yes, we go into the world. Yes, we plead, ‘send me!’ But we don’t associate with false teachers to do it. We don’t abandon our position because of a feeling and go chasing waves. Waves subside. The Gospel doesn’t. The naive newbie, the seeking heart, the unsure penitent needs to know where there is a clear line between truth and false.”
“So let’s get this straight. A man is gunned down in cold blood—by a homosexual in a romantic relationship with a trans-queer—for speaking out about how sexual perversion and transgenderism are negatively impacting our society, and the lesson Davis draws isn’t about political violence or spiritual warfare—it’s that Charlie wasn’t sensitive enough.”
Biola could have been saved and fought for by Sean, but when the testing point came, he flinched and has been flinching ever since. It reminds me of a line from Tommy Lasells in The Crown series:
“…Emma asked someone to pass on a handwritten note from her to me, which contained the single sentence ‘I’m so sorry for what you’re going through’ (she has my phone number). This was back when the death, rape and torture threats against me were at their peak, at a time when my personal security measures had had to be tightened considerably and I was constantly worried for my family’s safety. Emma had just publicly poured more petrol on the flames, yet thought a one line expression of concern from her would reassure me of her fundamental sympathy and kindness.”
“So here we are, watching yet another tragedy twisted into a morality play, where Christians are cast as villains for daring to say the obvious—that Mormonism is not Christianity.”
“This idea of liberty is God’s idea, not man’s idea. And whether or not the United States of America will continue to exist in any recognizable form, is completely and solely dependent on whether or not those who call themselves Christians, churches in America will be willing to say, “Lord, here I am. Use me for your purpose.” And will elevate the fight for truth, freedom, liberty, America. Much more than ease and comfort.”
“Bizarre visuals from Dearborn, Michigan!…The displays of power are quite intimidating…There’s a distinct feeling of a military training camp vibe to this gathering…What are they preparing for!?”
(Protestia) A new ‘State of Theology’ survey by Liogoner Ministries, in conjunction with Lifeway research, has revealed the abject state of beliefs among American evangelicals, including nearly half of respondents who said “God accepts the worship of all religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.”
“Even worse, officers were assaulted in the streets in broad daylight with cameras rolling, and yet our response then was nothing like the Capitol Riots response on and after January 6, 2021. I do not recall a single instance where the FBI…made any attempt to put the resources behind the summer riots of 2020, as they did during the Capitol Riots,” the agent explained.”
(Matt Margolis – PJ Media) Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted on charges of making false statements and obstruction of justice, marking a dramatic development in one of the most politically explosive feuds in modern American history. The move comes just days after President Donald Trump publicly demanded his Justice Department act “now” to pursue Comey and other political rivals, escalating what critics already describe as a clear weaponization of federal law enforcement.
