It’s Time For Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp And His AG To Indict Fani Willis For Perjury

(Will Chamberlain – The Federalist) Last week, Judge Scott McAfee issued his opinion on the potential disqualification of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her subordinate-slash-romantic partner Nathan Wade from Fulton County’s prosecution of Donald Trump and some 18 other Republicans relating to the 2020 election. McAfee found that there was no actual conflict of interest but did find that there was an appearance of impropriety, and held that Wade, but not Willis, had to resign from the prosecution. Is the Bible the Word of God and Does it Have Authority?

12 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12 (LSB)

Several yeas ago  I posted “Is there a war going on between God and His forces on one side and Satan and his forces on the other?” In that post I mentioned a link sent to me by a friend to a post on another blog called The Emergent Village. On that blog I could not help noticing a link to another post by another writer there titled “The Bible is NOT the WORD OF GOD: a polemic against Christendom“. What that fellow had to say is the centerpiece of “Christian Liberalism.” Denying The Bible as the Word of God, a gift from God to His people is the first step into apostasy. Once that step is taken all other truths are no longer held as absolute. Continue reading

Logos Gone Woke: The Bible Software’s Heavy Emphasis On Liberal Material

(Ray Fava – Evangelical Dark Web) A few weeks ago, it became evident that Logos Software, a widely used sermon preparation resource, was selling erotica on its website. Their website sells over 100000 books, so this was framed as an oversight between them and the publishers that they work with. Evidently, the response from Logos has been underwhelming in the last few weeks as Protestia did a recent follow-up that pointed out how many of the estimated 4000 erotic books have not actually been pulled from the site. However, there is a more glaring issue with Logos, and it is their heavy emphasis on books written by theological liberals. Continue reading

Biden Regime Invites Hamas-Linked CAIR to the White House Then lies about it.

(Robert Spencer – Front Page) Every aspect of this story is bad, and each horrifying aspect is competing with the others for which can have the most negative consequences for the American people. After Jews suffered attacks in Chicago, the Biden regime reached out not to Jewish leaders, but to Muslim groups, including open supporters of Hamas. The Muslims, however, enraged at the regime’s continued (albeit hollow) support for Israel, refused to show. Then a Biden regime wonk lied brazenly and denied that one of the worst of the Muslim groups was even invited. Continue reading

When Does Life Begin and Does It Really Matter?

“As we delve deeper into the historical and scientific journey that brings us to our current understanding, it is essential to recognize the underlying motives that fuel this debate.”

(The Dissenter) In the endless tussle between the convictions of Christianity and the assertions of science, the debate over when life begins stands as a colossal testament to our society’s moral and ethical crossroads. This discourse, rooted deeply in both scientific inquiry and biblical revelation, challenges us to reconcile our understanding of life’s inception with our deepest-held beliefs. Continue reading

From Aaron Rodgers to ‘Bloodbath’ – Media Hoax Season Begins!

(John Nolte – Breitbart) With former President Donald Trump polling as well as he ever has — as well as any Republican presidential candidate has in 20 years, the corporate media are staring into an abyss called Irrelevance and firing off one desperate hoax after another in the hopes of salvaging His Fraudulency Joe Biden and their own sense of self. If, after everything they have thrown at him, Trump wins reelection, they won’t be able to get out of bed.

The corporate media plan is no secret. We know because the plan has been made public by the Democrat party, and since the corporate media and the Democrat party are one, we know the plan is this… Continue reading

Francis Chan Joins Benny Hinn and a Cloister of Nuns (Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary) For Jesus Conference

(Protestia) Francis Chan is once again partnering with an arch-heretic on the preaching circuit. For the upcoming Jesus 24 conference, Chan will join not only Benny Hinn but also Bethel’s Bill Johnson, Christine Caine, and a cloister for Protestant nuns.

The Jesus 24 conference is hosted by Jesus Image, a ministry run by Michael and Jessica Koulianos—Benny’s Hinn’s daughter and son-in-law. While it makes sense that Hinn, Chan, Caine and Johnson would join forces, being linked by low discernment and a distaste for God’s word, they’re also joined by the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary (ESM), an order of Lutheran Nuns. Conspiracy TV – Here’s What’s Being Censored

“November 2016…Network chieftains went ballistic after Trump’s election. There has always been a collective mindset at the television networks, but now the ban was on; any pundit not despising Donald Trump need not apply.”

(Bill O’Reilly) It is true beyond a reasonable doubt that a few powerful social media companies, sometimes at the behest of the FBI, suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story.

That situation was finally exposed with troubling clarity. So, what else is being censored? Continue reading

Hezbollah Terrorist Plotting NYC Terror Attack Stopped at Border

(Eric Mack – Newsmax) A self-admitted member of the Hezbollah terrorist organization was reportedly caught by U.S. Border Patrol earlier this month, coming over from Lebanon during Ramadan and heading for New York to conduct a terrorist bombing.

Basel Bassel Ebbadi, 22, was stopped crossing the border illegally March 9 near El Paso, Texas, and admitted to plotting a terrorist attack in New York City, the New York Post reported Sunday. Continue reading

Your Measure of faith

3 For by the grace having been given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. Romans 12:3 translated from the NA28 Greek text)

Not long ago a good friend showed me this verse and said a brother at our church seemed very confused about the words “measure of faith.” Part of his confusion stemmed from reading several commentaries about it that differed from each other…. Continue reading

Personal holiness and inward cleanliness

24 You blind guides, who strain out a gnat but swallow a camel! Matthew 23:24 (LSB)

A huge trap that Christians can fall into is self-righteousness. It is a form of idolatry and that always causes spiritual blindness (Romans 1:24-25). Self-righteousness puts all effort towards godliness in the wrong place. It creates a form of piety that is all about outward appearances while putting little or no priority on matters of the heart. It is all about being concerned about appearances and what others think rather than being totally committed to abiding in Christ from within first. The self-righteous are consciously holy. However, that is not what we are called to be. Christians must be consciously repentant and unconsciously holy. The difference is huge for these are totally opposite walks. Continue reading

Biden imports immigrants through secretive flights, documents show

“Federal officials omitted the list of the airports through which illegal aliens have been entering despite requests for the information from the Center for Immigration Studies.”

(Jordan Elliott – The Sentinel) Biden administration officials imported some 320,000 illegal aliens through American airports directly from foreign countries last year alone, according to documents recently obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies through public records requests. Heresy of the Day: Transubstantiation

(The Dissenter) Transubstantiation is a doctrine that was formalized by the Catholic Church in the 13th century, most notably at the Fourth Lateran Council in 1215. It posits that during the Eucharist, the bread and wine are transformed into the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ, while their appearances remain unchanged. This belief has been a point of contention between the Catholic Church and many Protestant denominations, which typically hold to a symbolic interpretation of the Lord’s Supper. Continue reading

Fani Willis Judge: Sure, There Was Lying, Conflict, ‘Odor of Mendacity,’ but Hey, It Could be Worse

“How does a DA who has so deeply compromised and shown herself to be unworthy of her office get the call on who is fired from the case? The judge had an “answer” to that too. Trump’s legal chances weren’t hurt by her treachery.”

(Victoria Taft – PJ Media) By now you’ve heard that Fani Willis has not been booted from what’s left of the RICO election case against President Trump and more than a dozen other defendants. If you haven’t then you’ll want to read Chris’s excellent piece about it. While PJ Media will report the fall out and next moves, there’s more to this 23 page decision than the conclusion. That’s what I’ll be covering in this piece. Continue reading

Tucker & Rand: The CCP Does Not Own TikTok or Control It

“The people who’ve handed our country to China are banning TikTok to protect you from China? Probably not. So what’s really going on? Rand Paul joins us to explain.”

(Mary Dowling) There is a mad rush to sell TikTok because people object to the content of TikTok that Byte Dance, an alleged Chinese Communist Party operation, peddles. However, if it’s sold, the content might not change. It brings in a lot of money, just as it is.

Former Treasury Secretary under President Trump Steve Mnuchin and a coalition of investors want to buy it…. Continue reading

The Gospel Coalition Publishes a False, Christless Gospel Using Only Taylor Swift Lyrics

(The Dissenter) In a bizarre modern trend, Evangelicals have taken a peculiar fascination with pop idols, Taylor Swift being the most recent glaring example. Whether it be Christianity Today’s assertion that Taylor Swift “brings Christians together,” churches finding pop stars like these more attractive than Jesus, or even the Museum of the Bible promoting her at their events, this bewildering obsession marks an extreme departure from the Church’s mission and calling.

Elevating such pop idols to a platform that rivals, in many cases, even Jesus Himself not only dilutes but perverts essence of Christianity but ventures into the extremely bizarre, attempting to marry the sacred with the profane in a union that seems more suited for tabloid sensationalism than theological reflection…. The Way and persecution

14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would abide, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. 17 This I command you, that you love one another. John 15:14-19 (LSB)  Read verses 18-19 on the site. Continue reading

Judge Cannon Hammers Jack Smith’s Documents Case, Cites Hur

(Mary Dowling) Former President Donald Trump is in a Florida courtroom today in the Jack Smith classified documents case. Judge Cannon cited Robert Hur’s report of the “elderly” guy with the “poor memory” in the Oval Office who committed several felonies regarding classified documents.

Hur’s report shows that Joe Biden willfully and intentionally mishandled classified documents. Biden stole them without the right to do so and shared them with an author who had no right to see them legally. The author even obstructed justice. Continue reading

Schumer Wants Netanyahu Ousted, Calls for New Elections in Israel

“This move comes despite his Jewish roots and his past public support of Israel in the wake of the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas. In November, Schumer admitted that the rise in antisemitism in America after October 7 was coming from the political left.”

(Matt Margolis – PJ Media) I’m old enough to remember when Democrats expressed outrage over foreign countries allegedly trying to interfere with U.S. elections. But like everything else, foreign election interference is okay if they do it. Continue reading

Jesus: The Illumined Illuminator (Flashback)

This article by CRN managing editor Marsha West was published April 12, 2012.

Contemporary Christianity is following “every wind of doctrine” in spite of the fact that the Bible warns about taking this route. Self-professed Christ followers no longer “endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions” (2 Tim. 4:3).

Regrettably, many believers have embraced neo-Gnosticism.

One of the many obstacles the first century Church faced was Gnosticism, a heresy that held that salvation was only available to those who possessed the hidden truths of Christ.  GotQuestions.com explains Gnosticism thusly:

Christian Gnosticism is the belief that one must have a “gnosis” (from Greek “Gnosko,” to know) or inner knowledge which is mystical knowledge obtained only after one has been properly initiated. Only a few can possess this mystical knowledge, limiting the number of those “in the know”. … Gnosticism today seems to provide a lot of the form and color for the New Age portrait of Jesus where Jesus is seen as the illumined Illuminator: one who serves as a cosmic catalyst for others’ awakening. As such it is as false and heretical as the Gnosticism of the first century and needs to be roundly condemned for the heresy that it is.

Did Jesus Have a Fallen Human Nature?

Several months ago I was asked to begin work on a new book, a commentary on Paul’s Epistle to the Romans. The reasons I have not completed that work are many, but primarily I am very intimidated by the work itself. I loved working on the manuscript for my book Complete in Christ, which was a commentary on the Paul’s Epistle to the Colossians, however, Romans is an entirely different project. I’ve been a Bible teacher for decades and I could not count how often I have gone to Romans for source material for doctrinal answers. Also, when God saved me and I got my first Study Bible right after that, I began reading the New Testament. I could not put it down. However, when I came to Romans I found the answers to most of my questions about doctrine. I love this Epistle. Continue reading

UK Bans Harmful Puberty Blockers for Kids

“Doctors and politicians have already called on America to follow England’s lead on banning puberty blockers…Sen. Roger Marshall, a physician, said, “[L]et my message to America and the radical gender ideologues be clear: Wake up.”

(Catherine Salgado – PJ Media) In a victory for sanity, the United Kingdom has reportedly banned damaging puberty blockers for kids.

England’s National Health Service (NHS) has banned puberty blockers for “transgender” identifying children, according to Breitbart. Back in 2022, research highlighted the potentially severe long-term side effects of puberty blockers, which are prescribed to some children who identify as “transgender.” The NHS’s decision is good news, helping ensure that kids can grow up normal and healthy. Is Laken Riley’s Life Worth Less Than George Floyd’s?

“Democrats are accusing Republicans of trying to “score cheap political” points by demanding that migrants be vetted before being allowed in the U.S.”

(Betsy McCaughey – The Patriot Post) George Floyd’s death during a police chokehold on May 25, 2020, ignited nationwide protests to reform police procedures.

Referring to Floyd’s ordeal, former President Donald Trump said, “It doesn’t get any worse than that,” and within three weeks Trump signed an executive order establishing an abuse of force database and calling for improved police practices. Continue reading

The Liberty Christ Hath Purchased

“In our sin-fallen, law-cursed state, all people are in slavery to sin and in bondage to Satan, the prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:2). Of course, all who sin are subject to death, since “the wages of sin is death” (Rom. 6:23), or as Paul elsewhere writes, “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law” (1 Cor. 15:56). Blessedly, God does not leave us in our cursed state but has sent His Son to redeem us…”

(J.V. Fesco) The French novelist Victor Hugo (1802–85) writes of the fall and redemption of Jean Valjean, the chief protagonist of his popular book Les Misérables. Valjean found himself released from prison after serving nineteen long and arduous years for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his famished family. After his release, he eventually found shelter in a local church…. Continue reading
