“We have to see the political shift as an opportunity to advance truth not a momentary reprieve from an inevitable cultural collapse.”
(Clear Truth Media – Ben Schettler) Can we praise God for Trump? Yes.
God gave us mercy in a form that’s difficult for the pious to understand. But He has used far worse men than Trump to save His people before.
So, as we celebrate a shift in political power, what should faithful Christians learn from this win and how should we prepare for the next four years? Continue reading
(Simon Kent – Breitbart) Dutch populist leader Geert Wilders has condemned what appeared to be an organized, widespread targeted attack by anti-Israel rioters in Amsterdam on Thursday night, branding it a “pogrom” on the streets of the capital.
“In 2017, we saw unprecedented obstruction by Democrats of President Trump’s nominees. This must not happen again.”
“It ended as it had to, with Harris spending money her campaign didn’t have (she’s currently $20 million in the hole, despite raking in more than ONE BILLION DOLLARS) on celebrity endorsements that didn’t matter on the way to losing everything to a convicted felon that nearly half the country has been deluded into believing is Literally Hitler™.”
“Christians must keep putting their hands to the plow (Luke 9:62). For though the forces of darkness have suffered a political setback, we cannot forget that, like the Evangelicals For Harris, they won’t being going away unless and until they are winnowed or won to Christ, who is the Lord of all.”
“It’s not merely that Steven Lawson failed, and failed miserably—it’s that we, the Church, possess an almost comically unquenchable thirst for heroes. We crave Christian celebrities with the desperation of teenage girls clamoring for knights in shining armor while playing dress-up with their mom’s wedding gown.”
(Matt Vespa – Townhall) It was a blue mirage. Liberals were confident in beating Donald Trump, despite Kamala Harris’s lack of intelligence and political acumen to be president. The polls showed a close race. It ended up being much like 2016—Trump cinched an Electoral College landslide, and he’s going to win the popular vote. On both fronts of their coping sessions, the Left has nothing. You can’t seethe about the Electoral College when Trump won the popular vote.
(Clear Truth Media) It would, of course, be very poor form after what can rightly be described as a crushing electoral victory for the Republican Party, to spend the morning basking in the glory of such a triumph, drinking the sweet, sweet nectar of progressive tears, and playing the wailing and gnashing of their teeth as a kind of soothing whale-song with which to unwind after a long but magnificent night.
Watch Megan’s powerful speech on X.
“Musk fears that a Kamala Harris win on Tuesday would mean the end of Twitter/X as we’ve come to know it. If Trump were to win, Musk would expect to see advertising on the platform return to robust numbers, but a Kamala win would mean: They’ll freaking shut [it] down. There’s no way that the … Kamala regime would allow X to exist.”
Why then the charges of Trump the fascist and Hitler reincarnation? Simple. Harris’s personal negatives are rising, her polls inert. She has abandoned her prior run-out-the-clock avoidance of the media, her smiley “joy” campaign, and instead now embraces the big lie, while President Joe Biden writes off Trump supporters as “garbage.”
(Steven Richards – Just the News) Democrats were confronted earlier this year with a terrifying reality: a cap on out-of-pocket costs for patients to limit Medicare drug spending passed as part of Biden’s signature Inflation Reduction Act was set to spike premiums for millions of senior citizens just weeks before the 2024 presidential election.
“Hewitt pointed out that as “news people” they should try actually reporting the full story.”
(Tim Chester – GCD) Here’s a surprise. In preparation to write about how we relate to Jesus day by day in the here and now, I re-read the Gospels. I was looking out for how he related to people when he was on earth as pointers to how he relates to his people now from heaven. Much of what I found was what I expected. He cares, protects, energizes, touches, and intercedes for his people—then and now. But one thing took me by surprise: Jesus on earth was often angry.
“Note the shift from “unfit,” which is what Harris usually says about Trump, to “disqualified.” The purpose of that language shift should be obvious. Democrats and the corporate press know Harris is poised to lose the election, so here in the final stretch, they are grasping for a pretext to prevent a victorious Trump from taking office on Jan. 20. They will repeat the claim that he’s “disqualified” ad nauseam between now and then to prepare the rhetorical ground for what comes next.”
“Heretics, like Rick Warren and Andy Stanley, fetishize the early church as a means to introduce vain ideology into the church.”
“Entire Amish communities are travelling in carts with Trump flags, on their way to vote for Trump. This is unprecedented. Off-grid communities don’t tend to go out of their way like this to vote. People are sick of leftism in every single country.”
“There’s a definite shift happening in America. The right is rising up—stronger, louder, and more determined than ever to take on the left-wing censorship tyrants. Much of that renewed power comes from Elon Musk’s X platform, which isn’t just pushing back against leftist tyranny; Elon himself has become a part of the Trump campaign, and when Trump wins, he’ll play a role in his administration too.”
“Our character ultimately defines us, and the evidence presented suggests a troubling disconnect between public persona and private conduct.”
“We have to try to choose leaders who, while not spiritual giants, are at least influenceable. We have to work with what’s on the menu, and what’s on the menu will always be fallible, fallen, sinful human beings. That is not a reason for us to opt out of our advisor’s role. On the contrary, it’s all the more reason for Christians to use whatever influence they have to push politics in a righteous direction.”
“Your first takeaway is that Vance is unusually intelligent. Not kinda smart or “smart enough” (*cough* Kamala *cough*) but genuinely a genius. His depth of knowledge (and ability to pivot) allows him to communicate compassionately and thoughtfully, even in a three-hour interview. Not all smart people can pull this off: Lots of them come across as uncaring eggheads who prefer numbers to people.”
“In order for McKissic or other Evangelicals for Harris to have any chance of success in convincing Christians to betray Christ in the ballot box, they have to project themselves as being equally interested in spiritual matters. Which, of course, they’re not.”
“Their Council of Trent curses those who believe otherwise, those who dare cling to
“If Kamala Harris does emerge victorious at some point next week, voting “irregularities” will no doubt play a part. What it will really be, though, is an almost complete victory for — as the headline to this column says — the public education indoctrination mill. What will make it a complete victory is if the Democrats hang onto their Senate majority and also take back the House.”
