Is God Using Sexual Immorality to Separate the Sheep from the Goats?

“If you attend a church where people can openly support what the Bible calls an abomination and the church refuses to do anything about it, respectfully speak to the pastor or elders….”

(The Doctrinal Watchdog) The time has come to purify the bride of Christ.  Anyone supporting same-sex marriage legislation needs to be put under church discipline including pastors.

Back in 2019, some people (not us) were shocked when SBC president JD Greear preached a sermon from Romans chapter 1 where he concluded that Christians must be the fiercest supporters of gay rights…. Continue reading

Pastor David E. Taylor Claims Followers Can See Jesus and God the Father Face-to-Face at Zoom Conference

“But wait, there’s more! At this year’s conference, which can be viewed online only, Taylor says that he has “covenanted” with God to make big things happen.”

*Protestia) Pastor David E. Taylor is known for his name-it-and-claim-it faith-healing and prosperity gospel antics. The ministry of fleecing the desperate, ill, and elderly has been so good to Taylor that his ministry recently purchased an $8.3 million Tampa mansion. Taylor, who self-identifies as an “apostle”, claims that in 1997 he was “given the keys to the Kingdom of heaven by Jesus in a face-to-face appearance in a dream.”… Continue reading

The Gospel Coalition Uses the Book of Ruth to Defend Same-Sex Civil Unions

“In the example of Ruth and Naomi how is that relationship enhanced or harmed by any external civil policy whatsoever? The idea of such a thing is smuggled into the conversation in an attempt to lend credence to its thesis. There’s no way anybody would ever find that there without this cultural corruption as a backdrop for doing so.”

(The Dissenter) In a recent article at The Gospel Coalition, Joe Carter, a co-pastor at David Platt’s McLean Bible Church and a former employee of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission attempts to argue from the Book of Ruth in favor of same-sex civil unions. If You Really Wanted to Destroy the US, Then…

“We have done all of the above. It would be hard to imagine any planned agenda to destroy America that would have been as injurious as what we already suffered the last two years.”

(Victor Davis Hanson – American Greatness) First, you would surrender our prior energy independence.

Reduce new gas and oil leases on federal lands to the lowest levels of any president in history. Cut back production at precisely the time the world is emerging from a two-year lockdown with pent-up consumer demand. Continue reading

BNG Attacks Tom Ascol, Tom Buck, and Megan Basham

(Ray Fava – Evangelica Dark Web) After breaking the initial story about David Sills filing a defamation lawsuit against the SBC, prominent figures, and Guidepost, Baptist News Global did not wait long to write a hit piece against supportive voices of the lawsuit, namely Tom Ascol, Tom Buck, and Megan Basham. The first two are prominent pastors in the SBC who oppose the liberal drift. Basham is a Daily Wire reporter who has taken on issues that Evangelical Dark Web writes on (among others), and broadcasts them to a much larger audience. Continue reading

For the First Time in 1,400 Years, Christians Are a Minority in England and Wales, and the U.S. Is Not Far Behind

“Leftism has conquered the religious establishment in the United Kingdom as well as the United States, but since it has conquered everything else as well, it’s all the same to stay home on Sunday morning and enjoy a waffle and the morning chat shows rather than sit in an uncomfortable pew and hear more of the same.”

(Robert Spencer – Jihad Watch) For the first time in 1,400 years, England and Wales are no longer majority Christian. The UK’s Telegraph reported Tuesday that “Christians now account for less than half of England and Wales’ population for the first time in census history, government figures reveal.” This is an indication of what happens when the Left attains cultural dominance in a society and is likely a harbinger of things to come for the U.S. as well unless there is some massive cultural shift in the next few years. And there could be. Continue reading

The Second Commandment and the Films Depicting Jesus

(Ron DiGiacomo) Many Christians believe that the second commandment has always only been against making an image of God and using it as a worship aid, like Roman Catholicism promotes in practice. (The Eastern Church’s icons are usually up for grabs.) A growing number of Protestants who avoid crucifixes and such will say that the commandment is addressing carved images or possibly God’s divine nature but certainly not Jesus’ human nature acted out in a movie. Of course, these Protestants don’t adhere to WLC #109, which forbids under the Second Commandment “the making any representation of God, of all or of any of the three persons, either inwardly in our mind, or outwardly in any kind of image…” Continue reading

Greg Locke Accuses John MacArthur and Justin Peters of Lying About the Spiritual Gifts Because it ‘Feeds Your Ego’

(The Dissenter) Cessationism is the doctrine that the Apostolic sign gifts such as speaking in tongues, prophecy, and the gift of healing (not to be confused with God actually healing people), are not practiced today but, instead, were gifts given to certain people in the early Church before the closing of the biblical canon as a means to demonstrate the authority of the Words of God being spoken. In other words, cessationism teaches that these gifts have ceased and that the Scriptures are complete. Continue reading

When Christian Leaders Capitulate On Marriage, Innocent Children Suffer

“This is the dystopian, domino effect of redefining marriage so that Christians may assure themselves they are pluralists in good standing, on the right side of rapidly devolving modern history.”

(Megan Basham – The Federalist) Learning this month that 12 Senate Republicans had signed on with Democrats to advance the misnamed Respect for Marriage Act left many Christians stunned. Most shocking was the “yes” vote from Roy Blunt, a practicing Southern Baptist who served for three years as president of a small, private university in the theologically conservative denomination. Even Washington Post Admits That Covid Is Now a Pandemic of the Vaccinated

“On the same day that Dr. Fauci made his final speech from the podium, “The Health 202” newsletter proclaimed that vaccinated people now make up a majority of Covid deaths: It’s no longer a pandemic of the unvaccinated…For the first time, a majority of Americans dying from the coronavirus received at least the primary series of the vaccine.”

(Stacey Lennox – PJ Media) Last week, Dr. Anthony Fauci spoke at what many of us fervently pray is his last official press conference. After botching the HIV epidemic in ways that are part of the public record, Fauci was allowed to bring Covid tyranny down on much of the nation in the name of “public health” for over two years…. The Chosen is Offering a Free Trial to an App That Lets You Pray With Their Cast Members

As I pointed out in an piece I penned last year (link below), a lot of professing Christians don’t realize that practicing Mormons, who have a different Jesus than the Jesus in the Bible, are involved in the production of The Chosen. And that should concern Bible believing Christians. Why? Because Mormonism is a theological cult, which means Mormons are not true Christians.  Mormons are counterfeit Christians. And yet Dallas Jenkins chose to yoke with unbelievers to assist in the production of his tv series. Paul deals with this issue in 2 Corinthians: “What partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?  What accord has Christ with Belial?  Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?” 2 Cor 6:14-15 In spite of Paul’s clear teaching, Mr. Jenkins joined forces with those who live in darkness.

So, with this backdrop in place, here’s The Dissenter’s article: Continue reading

Notitia, Assensus, and Fiducia: The Nature of Saving Faith

“The intent of this short article is to explore the negative impact that postmodern thought is having on the doctrine of Christian Soteriology. This is our cherished doctrine of salvation. Only when we turn our attention to the true source for true knowledge can we understand, confess, and believe the truth that sets us free.”

(Ed Dingess) It is no secret that the great deconstruction of evangelical Christianity has been underway for some time now. It’s hard to say when this deconstruction began or who is mostly responsible for initiating the project but at the end of the day, that really isn’t terribly important. After all, Christianity had its internal and external enemies from day one. What is important is that modern men who claim to be conservative Christians are clearly not. Continue reading

Was Trump Our Captain Queeg?

“We forget that far before 2020, the original election deniers were led by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic hierarchy. The former urged Joe Biden never to concede in 2022 should he lose the popular vote. Leftist journalists have outlined how the voting process was warped by changing voting laws, vast infusions of dark money to absorb state responsibilities in key precincts, and modulating the street protests of Antifa and BLM to wax or wane depending on Joe Biden’s electoral fortunes.”

(Victor Davis Hanson) The Left, the NeverTrump Right, and many independents are tiring of Donald Trump’s recitations of prior, however justified, grievances at the hands of the media, the Democratic Party, the administrative state, and hard-core Left. Continue reading

Maricopa County Made Arizona’s Elections Even More Of A Disaster Than People Realize

‘This was a horrible thing to experience. Poll workers conveyed a shocking lack of competence — it actually looked like willful incompetence,’ a Maricopa poll observer said.

(Shawn Fleetwood – The Federalist) After it trained upwards of 50,000 poll watchers, poll workers, and other roles for ongoing citizen engagement in the election process over the year leading up to the 2022 midterms, the Election Integrity Network sent out a survey to its on-the-ground volunteers following Election Day to gauge how things went. Voters Say, ‘Drill, Baby, Drill’

“Tippinsights argues that the strong response in favor of increasing American energy production, whether through more drilling or lowering restrictions, proves that the issue isn’t a political one but an economic one.”

(Chris Queen – PJ Media) There’s a lot to be said about how gas prices are causing trouble for everyday Americans. It’s not just at the pump where Americans feel the pain because the Biden administration refuses to drill for domestic oil; those policies also play out on store shelves. Continue reading

The ‘Great Reset’ should be called what it is—Communism

“Worshipping equality, worshiping equity, worshiping the climate – which by the way was worshiping nature…[these things have] been involved in pagan worship for millennia, going all the way back to the dawn of civilization.”

(Alex Timothy – The Post Millennial) On Thursday’s edition of Human Events Daily, Jack Posobiec explained the motivation behind the push by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to force the Great Reset on the western world. Continue reading

Breaking down the truth that women may not preach in church or teach men

“It’s clear that women usurping and failing to remain silent in the churches (not on blogs, radio, podcasts, or real life!) is a huge issue these days in Christian life. Women teaching men and preaching in church is not a secondary or tertiary issue, because it deals with creation order, the orderliness of the church, and the sin of disobedience.”

(Elizabeth Prata – The End Time) The Bible is clear that there is an order to the church. Certain things are to be done a certain way. No New Testament believer can be so unobservant of the Old Testament that they fail to see the specificity with which God expects worship. Though New Testament believers are not beholden to the OT ceremonial laws and bloody sacrifices (because Christ has come!) we are still cognizant of the fact that God is still God. He does not accept any old worship. Just ask Ananias and Sapphira. Continue reading

Is Netflix Going To Make Chronicles of Narnia Woke?

(Ray Fava – Evangelical Dark Web) With the recent fallout from the horrendous Amazon Prime Lord of the Rings series, The Rings of Power, the thematically not far off Chronicles of Narnia adaptations may be the next franchise to be destroyed by Hollywood’s liberal agenda and incompetence. Netflix is not known for longevity of series quality. Many of their shows have some sort of “third date rule” whereby the third episode or season of a show will offload a bunch of homosexual propaganda. Continue reading

Is Congress Poised to Investigate Whitmer Fednapping Hoax?

Weeks before the November 2020 presidential election, the Justice Department filed a criminal complaint against six men for allegedly conspiring to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Evidence presented at trial suggests that FBI assets were directly involved in the kidnapping plot.”

(Julie Kelly – American Greatness) A federal judge next month is scheduled to sentence two men convicted of conspiring to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer from her lakeside cottage in the fall of 2020. Adam Fox, the alleged ringleader, and Barry Croft, Jr. face years in prison. Continue reading

Sodom’s Behavior: Homosexuality Or Gay Rights?

“Sadly, the LGBTQ community and many professing evangelicals have misinterpreted the Bible’s declarations of Sodom’s wickedness. We must reject the homosexual community’s interpretation of their behavior and accept God’s explanation of their sinfulness.”

(Tom Hill) Many people attempt to reconcile homosexuality with the Bible. However, such efforts fail. You cannot reconcile truth with error. The battle to legitimize homosexuality begins with an all out attack upon the Biblical record of Sodom. This assault changes the story of Sodom from homosexuality to inhospitality. It further misinterprets the other references to Sodom in the Bible to refer to acts other than homosexuality. Continue reading

Disney’s Big Gay, Green ‘Strange World’ Crashes at Box Office

(John Nolte – Breitbart) Disney’s latest animated feature, the gay, green Strange World, just tanked at the box office.

Gee, what a shock. You mean no one wants to waste their Thanksgiving weekend having their children prematurely sexualized by groomers with a side order of enviro-guilt?

This should do wonders for Disney’s already cratered stock price.

Strange World cost anywhere from $150 million to $180 million to produce. Add at least another $50 to $100 million to promote, and what you have here is a straight-up catastrophe, a quarter of a billion — with a “B” — write-off. Continue reading
