Axios Releases Audio Showing Biden Struggling with Memory in Interview with Robert Hur

“The outlet’s release of the audio comes after the Biden administration refused to release the recordings of Biden’s interview with Hur. As Breitbart News previously reported, in May 2024, Biden invoked executive privilege to block a subpoena from House Republicans seeking to obtain audio recordings of his interview with Hur.”

(Elizabeth Weibel – Breitbart) Newly released audio from Axios reveals that former President Joe Biden struggled with his memory during an interview with then-special counsel Robert Hur. Continue reading

Personal Holiness and Intercessory Prayer

14 As obedient children, not being conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, 15 but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your conduct; 16 because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.” 1 Peter 1:14-16 (LSB)

Much of the spiritual bankruptcy of the Church in our day can be attributed to the dire lack of Biblical discipleship within the Body of Christ. It seems that little is heard of the necessity of being separate from the world and not be conformed to it. That, combined with most professing believers having a very shallow Bible knowledge, creates an environment with very little spiritual discernment and wisdom. Continue reading

The Trump Administrations’ Latest Move Is Sure to Anger the Branch Covidians

(Jeff Charles – Townhall) The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will no longer recommend the COVID-19 vaccine to minors and pregnant women, a significant departure from government policy during the pandemic.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will remove the recommendations when it enacts new policies for approving vaccinations.

The exact timing of the announcement wasn’t clear, the people said, though it was expected in the coming days. Continue reading

What are the Causes of Church Conflict?

(Robb Brunansky – The Cripplegate) God designed the church to be a foretaste of the new creation, but sadly, the church can often look more like the old creation as Christians surrender to the desires of the flesh. These problems in the church are not unique, new, or specific to a handful of churches. Rather, conflict has riddled the church from its earliest days.

The first churchwide conflict in the New Testament occurred in Acts 6. This dissension happened during an exciting time of massive growth, not during a time of difficulty or a season of stagnant ministry. With this increase, however, came a proliferation of conflict and strife…. Continue reading

We Need to Address the Church’s Bondage to Hollywood

(The Dissenter) If our church members fall into the habit of frequenting the theatre, we shall soon have them going much further in the direction of vice, and they will lose all relish for the ways of God. If theatre-going became general among professing Christians, it would be the death of piety. Yet one finds the taste for such things increasing on every hand. – Charles Spurgeon

We are a fallen people. Sin is our nature. God sees that we, in our natural state, are profoundly wicked, and that every intention of the thoughts of our hearts is only evil continually (Genesis 6:5). This is one of the foundational truths of Christianity: God is good, man is fallen. This is why He sent His Son to die for us. Continue reading

Justification, law, and grace

6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, carry us away. Isaiah 64:6 (LSB)

Since the inception of this ministry I have been approached by many concerned people who are convinced that they have sinned one too many times and have forfeited their salvation. They were being continually antagonized about their sin by a voice within. In every case, after some careful questioning, I learned that each of them have been part of a church or denomination whose doctrine of justification is a blend of grace and law, faith and works…. The Hidden Supernatural: Angels, Souls, and God’s Sovereignty

(Elizabeth Prata – The End Times) The article explores the supernatural realm, emphasizing its presence in everyday life. It discusses Thomas Jefferson’s rationalist beliefs and the journey of souls after death, highlighting angelic warfare and God’s sovereignty. I encourages readers to recognize, even if we cannot see, the continuous supernatural activities guided by divine oversight that influence human history and spiritual existence.

Did you ever stop to consider the supernatural in your everyday life?

I’d like to write something that will hopefully open your mind to the teeming activity in the supernatural realms which our current eyes cannot see. However the bustling activity is all around us on earth  and extends into the second and third heaven. Continue reading

Daystar Television Vindicated As Police Close Investigation Without Charges

(Ray Fava – Evangelical Dark Web) Last year, the allegations of sexual abuse threatened the televangelist empire, Daystar. Daystar was accused of covering up abuse by Jonanthan and Suzy Lamb. They alleged that their daughter was purposefully walked in on while changing her bathing suit on a family vacation. These allegations were made through the feminist blogger, Julie Roys, who unscrupulously published their account, leaving out major details that led to a correction.

*Correction: Our initial report said Pete was alone in the room with Jonathan and Suzy’s daughter. Pete was holding a baby in his arms and Jonathan and Suzy’s son was on a bunk on the opposite side of the room.

What is Idolatry?

1 Then God said to Jacob, “Arise, go up to Bethel and live there, and make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau.” 2 So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, “Put away the foreign gods which are among you and cleanse yourselves and change your garments; 3 and let us arise and go up to Bethel, and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone.” Genesis 35:1-3 (LSB)
idolatry 1: the worship of a physical object as a god 2: immoderate attachment or devotion to something (from Webster’s Ninth Collegiate Dictionary)

I’m sure that most Christians’ conception of idolatry is one in which people fall down and worship some statue or image or a facsimile of something that appears to resemble a god….

Can G3 Recover From The Josh Buice Scandal?

“We want to clarify the reason for canceling the conference. While the conference and ministry could continue without Josh’s leadership, we chose to cancel this year’s event primarily because several of the scheduled speakers had been sinfully targeted by him through anonymous accounts.”

(Ray Fava – Evangelical Dark Web) Josh Buice founded G3 Ministries, which truly became bigger than himself. G3 Ministries was an up-and-coming alternative to The Gospel Coalition, Desiring God, and 9 Marks. But this week, Josh Buice, its founder, was ousted over the use of burner accounts that attacked his coelders and G3 speakers. In short, not only did Josh Buice use burner accounts to slander his enemies, but also his allies. Dr. Michael Brown Threatens Legal Action Against Former Colleague Over Defamation Claims

(Protestia) In a dramatic escalation of a recent scandal, noted author and apologist Dr. Michael Brown has issued a cease-and-desist letter to his former friend and colleague, Ron Cantor, demanding an apology and retraction of alleged false statements involving Brown’s recent “sexual misconduct” controversy. The letter threatens further legal action if Cantor fails to comply.

Cantor has been highly critical of Brown throughout the entire saga, recently releasing a 135-page report of witness testimony seeking to document Brown’s alleged behavior, both admitted to and denied. Continue reading

Episcopal Church Refuses to Resettle White South Africans and Ends Partnership With U.S. Government

“There’s no persecution of whites in South Africa. None. Zero. Zilch. Pay no attention to the law passed last year that gives the government the right to appropriate white South African farmland.”

(Rick Moran – PJ Media) How very Christian of them.

The Episcopal Church thinks that all white South Africans are racists and won’t help a few dozen of them resettle in the United States.

“In light of our church’s steadfast commitment to racial justice and reconciliation and our historic ties with the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, we are not able to take this step,” wrote the Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe, the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church. Continue reading

Dangerous ticks, green tyrants and the new biological war on red meat…

“This bizarre red meat allergy is sweeping across the country, we’re also being hit with a coordinated media and political campaign to convince us that meat is killing us, making us sick, destroying the planet, and needs to go. The timing isn’t just strange, it’s downright suspicious…”

(Revolver) There’s a tick spreading across the US that’s giving people an allergy to red meat. No, this isn’t some fringe conspiracy theory; it’s actually real, and it’s called Alpha-gal Syndrome. It starts with the bite of a Lone Star tick, and for some people, it ends with a permanent allergic reaction to beef, lamb, pork, even dairy and gelatin. Some farmers and ranchers who get it can’t even go near their own livestock without reacting.

And guess what? It’s spreading… Continue reading

Moral Majority or Moral Authority? Applying Biblical Ethics in the Public Square

“The church’s role is not to usurp the authority of the family or the government but to uphold biblical standards, to disciple believers, and to bear witness to the truth. In doing so, it supports families with teaching and counseling, and it speaks prophetically to governments, calling them to align with God’s moral order.”

(Keith Foskey – Clear Truth Media) Recently, I taught a course on biblical law and ethics, where we explored a wide range of topics—sexuality, politics, economics, and even just war theory. A key question that emerged during our discussions was this: How do we move from theory to practice when it comes to ethics and morality? More specifically, what role should the church play in applying biblical ethics to the broader culture? Continue reading

What is the evidence of being a genuine disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ?

1 Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2 fulfill my joy, that you think the same way, by maintaining the same love, being united in spirit, thinking on one purpose, 3 doing nothing from selfish ambition or vain glory, but with humility of mind regarding one another as more important than yourselves, 4 not merely looking out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2:1-13 (LSB) Read verses 5-13 on the site.

Several years ago, about 18 months after I was saved, I heard a wonderful lesson at a men’s retreat on Matthew 5:1-12. My Bible knowledge at that time was spotty. I had heard of The Beatitudes, but really hadn’t studied them. I had actually heard others teach that these statements are not possible for Christians until Jesus comes in His glory…. They Really Did Lie to Us About the ‘Vaccine’ Preventing Transmission

I looked at the monkey studies. And when they gave the vaccine to monkeys, to macaques, and then they exposed them to wild virus, the vaccinated monkeys had the same amount of viral concentration in their nasal pharynx as the unvaccinated monkeys. And right then, I said, “Game over.”

(Mary Dowling) Human Perspectives posted the clip below on X, and it’s a good reminder that what we can’t believe is happening is happening. They really did lie over and over about the vaccine preventing transmission, and they knew they were lying. In our heart of hearts, we all know they were lying. Continue reading

Would the Left Finally Explain the Inexplicable?

“Why did Biden or his puppeteers do something so anarchic, so injurious to their fellow Americans?”

(Victor Davis Hanson) Somewhere between 10 and 12 million illegal aliens were invited into the United States by the Biden administration.

As far as logistics go, former President Joe Biden could not flee Afghanistan without getting 13 Marines killed and abandoning to the terrorist Taliban $50 billion in munitions, a billion-dollar embassy, and a $300 million retrofitted huge airbase.

But Biden and his handlers proved far more logistically capable when their target was fellow Americans. Continue reading

Trump to Sign Executive Order Reducing Cost of Prescription, Pharmaceutical Drug Prices

“I will be instituting a MOST FAVORED NATION’s POLICY whereby the United States will pay the same price as the Nation that pays the lowest price anywhere in the World,” Trump continued. “Our country will finally be treated fairly, and our citizens Healthcare Costs will be reduced by numbers never even thought of before.

(Elizabeth Weibel – Breitbart) President Donald Trump revealed that he would be signing an executive order on Monday reducing the cost of prescription and pharmaceutical drugs by 30 to 80 percent. Continue reading

New Study Finds Majority of American Catholics Want Church To Be More ‘Inclusive,’ Abandon Catholic Teaching

(Protestia) A significant majority of American Catholics favor the adoption of progressive theological teachings that diverge from the core tenets of their faith, according to a recent study by the Pew Research Center, which surveyed 1,787 Catholic respondents.

When asked whether the Catholic Church should “stick to its traditional teachings, even if it means the church gets smaller” or “be more inclusive, even if it means changing some of its teachings,” over 60% of respondents favored greater ‘inclusivity,’ while 37% supported adhering to traditional, more biblical doctrines. The profile of an apostate

20 And the one on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, this is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away. 22 And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. Matthew 13:20-22 (LSB)

The Bible very clearly teaches that Christians should examine themselves quite often in order to see what their spiritual condition is. Genuine Christians are not perfect people. Neither are they always full of happiness, in perfect health while having plenty of money in the bank. No, the fact that all believers are called to be humble, poor in spirit, meek, pure in heart and many other things that are growing in their character means that they will spend much of their time in the fires of sanctification. ‘We Don’t Do Politics…’

“When you attempt to sever spiritual matters from political matters, it is akin to removing the soul from the body. The body dies. And that is what we are seeing in the West. The body is dying because we’ve attempted to sever the spiritual or theological from politics.”

The election was days away. He knew his congregation was divided, some would vote Republican, other Democrat, others third party. And he knew that more than a few would oppose his ballot if they ever discovered how he voted, which he was scrupulous to obscure. For weeks, emails had piled up with various members encouraging him to say something. The administrative assistant kept hounding him to reply. But he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Progressive Christianity Watch: Bad Music Choices Edition

“The operative line in that song is “We’ve got no idea what we’re doing” — because they don’t have a clue. It’s bad not only because it hints at universalism but also because it simply doesn’t make any sense.”

(Chris Queen – PJ Media) It’s been a few weeks since I’ve written one of these, so I figured we were due for another look at the silliness that progressive churches engage in. A few weeks ago, I shared a musical-themed column, and I have another one. Think of this as Progressive Christianity 2: Electric Bugaloo. Continue reading

Are those who are not doers of the Word, but are only hearers really Christians?

22 Now be doers of the Word and not only hearers deceiving yourselves. James 1:22 (translated from the NA28 Greek text to English)

In 1997, about three years before God moved my wife and I from the OKC area to Tulsa, our Pastor contacted me during the week and told me that he wanted me to fill in for him on Wednesday night after our weekly meal. That meant I would conduct a short Bible study and then have a question and answer period in which adults present could ask anything they wanted about doctrine or the Church or the Bible and I would attempt to answer it. The Bible study part was not a problem since I planned on simply using one I had prepared for another study that I had not yet taught. However, the Q & A was a bit unsettling. I had seen how that went. It was a bit like “Stump the Pastor.” Continue reading
