(Anne Stych – Ministry Watch) Kay Arthur, a popular Christian speaker, author and longtime host of the “Precepts for Life” Bible teaching program that was broadcast around the world, has died.

“She will be remembered for her love for the Lord, His Word, and His people,” Chattanooga-based Precept, the ministry Arthur co-founded with her late husband, Jack, said in announcing her death. “A dynamic speaker with a warm writing style that captivated many, Kay was a remarkable beacon of grace and truth to all who encountered her.”

A former missionary and registered nurse, Arthur was born Nov. 11, 1933, in Jackson, Michigan, and graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio…. Continue reading

What is genuine Biblical Humility?

3 Do nothing according to rivalry nor empty conceit, but in humility esteem others more significant than yourselves. (Philippians 2:3 translated from the NA28 Greek text)

One of the main contentions of the Christian deconstructionists in our time such as Andy Stanley is that it is an arrogant thing to teach from the Bible as if it is absolute truth. They say that the truly humble are those who confess to know nothing precisely, but only in a nebulous sort of way…. Continue reading

The Many Masks of Spirituality

“The term Wellness has allowed these New Age and occult practices to fly under the radar so that they can enter schools, workplaces, and the church. People do not know that Wellness does not mean health. Rather, it means one is responsible for one’s health, including your thoughts and your “invisible” body which is made up of chi/chakras/the meridian – whatever one believes in. These things do not exist but they act as spiritual vehicles for deception and destruction.”

(Marcia Montenegro) Don Veinot recently sent me a brief videoSpirituality Without Religion: The Rise of the ‘Modern Mystic’ (less than 9 minutes), that discusses how society is now more open to “spirituality” without connecting it to specific religions, at least not knowingly. This has been a trend for some time and is not new. It is just that practices like yoga, burning sage, mindfulness, breathwork, energy healing, shadow work, and other similar practices, are no longer viewed as fringe or even just merely tolerated, but are embraced as paths to what is called wholeness, wellness, “holistic spirituality” and other ideals that have reached a high status in today’s culture. 2 Corinthians 6:14-17…Testing Alcoholics Anonymous according to Scripture

“Alcoholics Anonymous is successful. But its success is not in treatment effectiveness, which is limited, but in pointing people away from Jesus Christ, and in watering down the theology of the Christians who do attend.”

(John Lanagan – The Word Like Fire) What does the Bible say about Christians who participate in 12 Step groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous? Is this allowed or is it biblically forbidden?

It is forbidden. In spiritual matters we are to remain separate. According to 2 Corinthians 6:14-15: Continue reading

This Is the Man Behind the Curtain of Biden’s Health Coverup

(Matt Margolis – PJ Media) For four years, Americans watched Joe Biden stumble—literally and figuratively—through his presidency, while his inner circle and media allies insisted everything was just fine. Any attempt to question his physical or mental decline was met with accusations of “ageism” or dismissed as wild conspiracy talk. This, from the same Democrats who once obsessed over Donald Trump’s mental fitness, but spent most of Biden’s term parroting absurd claims that he was “sharp as a tack,” “a beast,” or “running circles around his staff.”… Continue reading

Epstein Suicide Confirmed by Kash Patel and Frankie Five Angels

(Stephen Green – PJ Media) FBI director Kash Patel told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo Sunday night that he reviewed the entire Jeffrey Epstein case file and concluded that the notorious sex trafficker “killed himself” and that “there’s no evidence in the case file suggesting otherwise.”

“As someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor who’s been in that prison system, who’s been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who’s been in segregated housing, you know a suicide when you see one, and that’s what that was,” Patel said to Bartiromo. Continue reading

Supreme Court Gives Trump Another Victory in Immigration Fight

(Jeff Charles – Townhall) The US Supreme Court has lifted an injunction against its effort to revoke legal status for over 500,000 migrants who were part of the Biden-era CHNV program.

This ruling is another victory for the Trump administration’s efforts to curb illegal immigration. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was the only judge to dissent.

The Supreme Court has sided with the Trump administration (8-1 with Jackson dissenting) to stay an injunction from the lower court blocking the March cancellation of parole for migrants under the Biden administration’s CHNV program. Continue reading

False Teacher of the Day: Delman Coates

“The real tragedy isn’t that Coates is just wrong—it’s that he’s confidently, proudly, and unforgivably wrong, leading these people down a path of spiritual ruin.”

(The Dissenter) Delman Coates, the senior pastor of Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, recently delivered a sermon that could only be described as theological arson. Coates didn’t just bend the truth—he violently assaulted it, dragged it into a dark alley, and left it bleeding. He essentially raped the text of Scripture to accommodate his progressive ideology. Three Kinds of Death

1 And you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom we all also formerly conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. Ephesians 2:1-3 (LSB)

The fallen nature of man does not understand death. Depending on culture, some fight to stay alive with their all. The correct understanding of death comes to us from God’s Word. The word death is used in three different ways in Sacred Scripture. The first is spiritual death, which is separation from God (Ephesians 2:1,1)…. Continue reading

Jesus Christ, the express image of God

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. John 1:1-2 (LSB)

I heard a sermon once a long time ago in which the preacher defined a cult as any religious group that called itself Christian but denied the orthodox view our Triune God. That means that those who deny the Doctrine of the Trinity, according to that definition, are not Christians, but heretics. The man-centered part of each of us, that is the flesh, rebels from such a strict “legalistic” view, but as our faith becomes more and more God Centered in all its aspects, that view becomes entirely justified in our hearts because as we come to know God as He reveals Himself to His children, we will not doubt His Word nor will we attempt to overlay His truth with “altered” truth nor will we add to it nor subtract from it nor take it out of context in order to make it more man centered…. Josh Buice Sent Tip To ‘The Roys Report,’ Accusing Voddie Baucham of Misappropriating $1M in Donations

“Along with emailing Protestia under a pseudonym requesting that we look into some issues relating to John MacArthur and The Master’s Seminary, The Roys Report has revealed that he also contacted them under the name “Tom Smith” with allegations of financial misconduct potentially totaling $1.1M.”

(Protestia) Former G3 President and disqualified elder of Pray Mills Baptist Church, Josh Buice, sent an anonymous tip to news organization The Roys Report, accusing Voddie Baucham of using a ghostwriter to write his book ‘Fault Lines’ and misappropriating over a million dollars in GoFundMe donations. Did Former FBI Director James Comey Just Call for Trump To Be Murdered?

“FACT-O-RAMA! The phrase “86” was code to vacate the speakeasy at 86 Bedford in NYC. A cop on the take would hear they were about to be raided and would call the joint and say “86” and they knew to 23 Skidddo.” – Kevin Downey JR.

(Victoria Taft – PJ Media) It doesn’t get much more desperate and deranged than this. A former FBI director appears to have called for the assassination of the current president of the United States, Donald Trump. At least that looks like the message being telegraphed by the nation’s former top lawman on his social media accounts. Continue reading

Axios Releases Audio Showing Biden Struggling with Memory in Interview with Robert Hur

“The outlet’s release of the audio comes after the Biden administration refused to release the recordings of Biden’s interview with Hur. As Breitbart News previously reported, in May 2024, Biden invoked executive privilege to block a subpoena from House Republicans seeking to obtain audio recordings of his interview with Hur.”

(Elizabeth Weibel – Breitbart) Newly released audio from Axios reveals that former President Joe Biden struggled with his memory during an interview with then-special counsel Robert Hur. Continue reading

Personal Holiness and Intercessory Prayer

14 As obedient children, not being conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, 15 but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your conduct; 16 because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.” 1 Peter 1:14-16 (LSB)

Much of the spiritual bankruptcy of the Church in our day can be attributed to the dire lack of Biblical discipleship within the Body of Christ. It seems that little is heard of the necessity of being separate from the world and not be conformed to it. That, combined with most professing believers having a very shallow Bible knowledge, creates an environment with very little spiritual discernment and wisdom. Continue reading

The Trump Administrations’ Latest Move Is Sure to Anger the Branch Covidians

(Jeff Charles – Townhall) The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will no longer recommend the COVID-19 vaccine to minors and pregnant women, a significant departure from government policy during the pandemic.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will remove the recommendations when it enacts new policies for approving vaccinations.

The exact timing of the announcement wasn’t clear, the people said, though it was expected in the coming days. Continue reading

What are the Causes of Church Conflict?

(Robb Brunansky – The Cripplegate) God designed the church to be a foretaste of the new creation, but sadly, the church can often look more like the old creation as Christians surrender to the desires of the flesh. These problems in the church are not unique, new, or specific to a handful of churches. Rather, conflict has riddled the church from its earliest days.

The first churchwide conflict in the New Testament occurred in Acts 6. This dissension happened during an exciting time of massive growth, not during a time of difficulty or a season of stagnant ministry. With this increase, however, came a proliferation of conflict and strife…. Continue reading

We Need to Address the Church’s Bondage to Hollywood

(The Dissenter) If our church members fall into the habit of frequenting the theatre, we shall soon have them going much further in the direction of vice, and they will lose all relish for the ways of God. If theatre-going became general among professing Christians, it would be the death of piety. Yet one finds the taste for such things increasing on every hand. – Charles Spurgeon

We are a fallen people. Sin is our nature. God sees that we, in our natural state, are profoundly wicked, and that every intention of the thoughts of our hearts is only evil continually (Genesis 6:5). This is one of the foundational truths of Christianity: God is good, man is fallen. This is why He sent His Son to die for us. Continue reading

Justification, law, and grace

6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, carry us away. Isaiah 64:6 (LSB)

Since the inception of this ministry I have been approached by many concerned people who are convinced that they have sinned one too many times and have forfeited their salvation. They were being continually antagonized about their sin by a voice within. In every case, after some careful questioning, I learned that each of them have been part of a church or denomination whose doctrine of justification is a blend of grace and law, faith and works…. The Hidden Supernatural: Angels, Souls, and God’s Sovereignty

(Elizabeth Prata – The End Times) The article explores the supernatural realm, emphasizing its presence in everyday life. It discusses Thomas Jefferson’s rationalist beliefs and the journey of souls after death, highlighting angelic warfare and God’s sovereignty. I encourages readers to recognize, even if we cannot see, the continuous supernatural activities guided by divine oversight that influence human history and spiritual existence.

Did you ever stop to consider the supernatural in your everyday life?

I’d like to write something that will hopefully open your mind to the teeming activity in the supernatural realms which our current eyes cannot see. However the bustling activity is all around us on earth  and extends into the second and third heaven. Continue reading

Daystar Television Vindicated As Police Close Investigation Without Charges

(Ray Fava – Evangelical Dark Web) Last year, the allegations of sexual abuse threatened the televangelist empire, Daystar. Daystar was accused of covering up abuse by Jonanthan and Suzy Lamb. They alleged that their daughter was purposefully walked in on while changing her bathing suit on a family vacation. These allegations were made through the feminist blogger, Julie Roys, who unscrupulously published their account, leaving out major details that led to a correction.

*Correction: Our initial report said Pete was alone in the room with Jonathan and Suzy’s daughter. Pete was holding a baby in his arms and Jonathan and Suzy’s son was on a bunk on the opposite side of the room.

What is Idolatry?

1 Then God said to Jacob, “Arise, go up to Bethel and live there, and make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau.” 2 So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, “Put away the foreign gods which are among you and cleanse yourselves and change your garments; 3 and let us arise and go up to Bethel, and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone.” Genesis 35:1-3 (LSB)
idolatry 1: the worship of a physical object as a god 2: immoderate attachment or devotion to something (from Webster’s Ninth Collegiate Dictionary)

I’m sure that most Christians’ conception of idolatry is one in which people fall down and worship some statue or image or a facsimile of something that appears to resemble a god….

Can G3 Recover From The Josh Buice Scandal?

“We want to clarify the reason for canceling the conference. While the conference and ministry could continue without Josh’s leadership, we chose to cancel this year’s event primarily because several of the scheduled speakers had been sinfully targeted by him through anonymous accounts.”

(Ray Fava – Evangelical Dark Web) Josh Buice founded G3 Ministries, which truly became bigger than himself. G3 Ministries was an up-and-coming alternative to The Gospel Coalition, Desiring God, and 9 Marks. But this week, Josh Buice, its founder, was ousted over the use of burner accounts that attacked his coelders and G3 speakers. In short, not only did Josh Buice use burner accounts to slander his enemies, but also his allies. Dr. Michael Brown Threatens Legal Action Against Former Colleague Over Defamation Claims

(Protestia) In a dramatic escalation of a recent scandal, noted author and apologist Dr. Michael Brown has issued a cease-and-desist letter to his former friend and colleague, Ron Cantor, demanding an apology and retraction of alleged false statements involving Brown’s recent “sexual misconduct” controversy. The letter threatens further legal action if Cantor fails to comply.

Cantor has been highly critical of Brown throughout the entire saga, recently releasing a 135-page report of witness testimony seeking to document Brown’s alleged behavior, both admitted to and denied. Continue reading
