Spare me the arguments that it has Pagan origins and actually borrows from other festivals and was only later Christianized as a holiday. Let’s just be real; without Christ, there never would have been a Christmas. There never would have been an advent. There never would have been a reason to celebrate the birth of the savior of the world–the greatest gift to mankind from God the world has ever seen. Christmas is about Christ.
