(Christian News) The Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives passed the controversial Equality Act in a 224-206 vote on Thursday despite growing concerns over how the legislation would affect religious liberty, women’s sports, as well as other concerns. The bill now heads to the Senate for consideration.
The Equality Act’s passage included the support of three Republicans, including Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and John Katko and Tom Reed of New York, who joined the Democratic majority in voting to pass the bill. Continue reading

I never use the word “liberal” to describe the statist, pro-cancel-culture totalitarian left because the word doesn’t fit what they actually are. There’s nothing “liberal” about people who want to control every aspect of your life, including how much oxygen you can breathe in public. They are not “liberal” by any stretch of the imagination, nor do they support free speech as true liberals do. The American left cancels speech through firebombing or rioting or whatever other violent activities they regularly engage in to shut down free speech in America. At least 100,000 attended Trump’s speech that day; fewer than 1,000 “stormed” the Capitol. A few hundred have been arrested and only 14 face weapons charges. Those “deadly and dangerous” weapons include two baseball bats, a can of pepper spray, a walking stick/stun gun, an axe, a few fire extinguishers…a helmet, a riot shield, and a collapsible baton. And at no time did this random weaponry pose a lethal threat to lawmakers inside the Capitol.
