Fearing discovery and depositions, David Platt appears ready to settle lawsuit

“All these departures from church precedent unfolded over the last 10 months since Platt used his underhanded tactics to seize control of the church by overriding the will of the voters.”

(Capstone Report) McLean Bible Church has set May 18, 2022, to vote on a settlement resolution that grants most if not all the requests made by dissident conservative members of the church in a lawsuit filed against David Platt, MBC elders and the church…. Continue reading

We Know Where the Baby Formula Went — to Illegal Aliens

(Mary Dowling – Independent Sentinel) As you know, there is an alarming nationwide shortage of baby formula in the United States. Yet Joe Biden and his officials have found plenty of baby formula to keep illegal aliens well-supplied. Rep. Kat Cammack was told by a Border Patrol agent, who provided photos, that baby formula is being delivered to illegals crossing into the United States. She found out it is widespread.

This is infuriating. (video below) Continue reading

Parents protesting school COVID policies faced ‘dozens’ of FBI investigations: GOP lawmakers

The [congressmen] cited two investigations prompted by tips about owning guns and opposing mask mandates.

(Greg Piper – Just the News) The FBI opened “at least dozens” investigations of parents and elected officials across the country for opposing COVID-19 school policies such as mask and vaccine mandates, House Judiciary Committee Republicans alleged this week. Continue reading

The First Rule of Gay Club Is You DO NOT Talk About Gay Club! Groomer Teachers Plot on Zoom

(Megan Fox – PJ Media) The groomer teachers just will not stop trying to indoctrinate your kids into the rainbow cult behind your back. It’s amazing to me that they object to the term “groomer” and then actively plot to have secrets with children about sexuality. It is the definition of “grooming.” Christina Buttons, who calls herself a “reformed SJW,” has footage of a leaked Zoom call between teachers that was organized by GenderInClassrooms.com. This website purports to be “created by teachers for teachers” and “dedicated to equipping educators with the tools they need to foster safe, welcoming gender-inclusive classrooms.” Continue reading

Imagine the Unimaginable

“When revolutionaries undermine the system, earn the antipathy of the people, and face looming disaster at the polls, it is then they prove most dangerous—as we shall see over the next few months.”

(Victor Davis Hanson – American Greatness) Americans are now entering uncharted, revolutionary territory. They may witness things over the next five months that once would have seemed unimaginable.

Until the Ukrainian conflict, we had never witnessed a major land war inside Europe directly involving a nuclear power. Continue reading

Tiptoeing into Apostasy

Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12

I’ve been a Christian long enough to have seen many people fall away from the faith. Some have been well-known ministers or speakers who built large organizations or churches before falling into outright unbelief or into impenitence for serious sin. Others have been close friends who have decided to abandon their profession of faith along with their spouses. Still others have been former students in Bible studies and Sunday school classes who embraced worldly values and never darkened the door of an orthodox, gospel-preaching church again even if they claimed some sort of Christian allegiance. Abortion Is Not a Reproductive Right

(Alan Shlemon – Stand to Reason) Abortion-choice advocates routinely refer to abortion as a reproductive right. That’s misleading. Abortion isn’t about reproduction. It can’t be about reproduction. The word “reproduction” is formed from the combination of “re” (again) + “produce” (to make). It means to produce again, make a copy, or—in our context—simply to create another human being.

Abortion, however, refers to just the opposite, even if you grant the euphemistic definition usually offered: “the termination of a pregnancy.” To terminate is almost opposite of producing something. That’s one reason why it doesn’t make sense to classify abortion as a reproductive right. Continue reading

Recovering America: Don’t dare apologize for any of it.

…drive down those streets today, Van Nuys or Roscoe Boulevard, one sees in block after block, a cesspool of drugs, graffiti, homeless encampments, boarded up stores and rampant crime.  It speaks of thousands of streets and towns across this country, the fallen, the despair, the hopelessness.  Do we not care, does it not mean anything to see America turn into a third world country?

(Michael Finch – Frontpage Mag) This free-falling into a new America is becoming increasingly unlivable.  For anyone over a certain age, this America, this culture, this society have become beyond foreign.  It is not the country we grew up in and it is not the country we want to die in.  It is alien…. Julie Roys Pulls Out of Own Conference After Being Accused of Spiritual Abuse

There is someone else who should not be speaking at the conference.

(Protestia) Julie Roys, fresh off having been foiled by trying to play 4D chess with the Rolex of Polemics, has announced on social media in a late-night Friday dump that she has pulled out of her own conference and will not be speaking. The Restore Conference, taking place May 20-21, “Where is God when there’s abuse? Recovering from spiritual trauma. Effective victim advocacy and Choosing hope vs. despair” Continue reading

Hunter Biden’s $2M ‘sugar brother’

(Byron York – Washington Examiner) One of the mysteries of the Hunter Biden matter is how the president’s son, with no obvious sources of income, manages to maintain a grand lifestyle. For the last year or so, he has been living in a $20,000 a month rental house in Malibu, California. (The taxpayers are footing the bill for the Secret Service to pay even more, $30,000 a month, to rent the house next door while protecting him.) The younger Biden also likes nice cars: A 2020 photo showed him arriving for lunch at the Waldorf Astoria in a Porsche Panamera GTS, which costs six figures. Federal prosecutors are also said to be looking into his purchase of another six-figure auto, a Fisker electric sports car. Continue reading

Thank God For Clarity

The point is Roe vs Wade being struck down is providing clarity that many prominent leaders do not hold tight to Biblical principles. The ones listed above should come as no surprise, but it’s a litmus test for the less obvious ones.”

(Brad Schoolfield – Protestia) The amount of babies murdered in this country alone is enough to make the Holocaust blush. Over 63 million have been killed (that have been reported) since the Supreme Court decision in 1973, and that is solely with surgical abortions. It does not include the abortion pill, abortifacient birth control, or IVF. Continue reading

Senate Passes Bill Expanding Protection for Supreme Court Justices

“I am glad to see this bipartisan bill unanimously pass the Senate in order to extend security protection to the families of Supreme Court members.”

(Spencer Brown – Townhall) The United States Senate on Monday night rushed through approval for a bill beefing up protection for Supreme Court Justices amid escalating threats against members of the Court and attacks targeting pro-life organizations. Continue reading

Antinomian teaching is centered in a misunderstanding of what is meant by ‘Christian Freedom’

For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30 since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one. 31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law. Romans 3:28-31 (NASB)

Antinomianism: The doctrine or belief that the Gospel frees Christians from required obedience to any law, whether scriptural, civil, or moral, and that salvation is attained solely through faith and the gift of divine grace. Continue reading

States Sue Biden Admin. for COLLUDING With Big Tech to Censor Americans

“Dr. Robert Epstein, a liberal and the senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology, warned years ago that Big Tech now has the capacity to shift up to 15 million votes in an election — more than enough to sway the outcome. And it has this impact because the majority of what it does is invisible to most Americans.”

(Selwyn Duke – The New American) The “Democrat establishment has been doing an end run around the First Amendment, using Big Tech as a proxy to stifle dissenting views.” This sentiment, which I expressed last year and on other occasions, is now the basis of a lawsuit filed against Joe Biden and other administration officials by two states’ attorneys general. The Exasperated American

“Bullied Americans are angry that people who control the nation’s institutions deliberately mislead them and do so because they hate them…Let us hope that they channel this historic exasperation in November in a manner we have never seen before in the modern era.”

(Victor Davis Hanson – American Greatness) A large majority of Americans now have no confidence in Joe Biden and his administration, which often polls below 40 percent, with negatives nearing 60 percent. Despite the 15-month catastrophe of his regime, the level of his own unpopularity remains understandable but still remarkable…. What We Need is Power

“It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.” 1 Peter 1:12

What is needed by the Christian today for the undergoing of all things experienced by the Christian today? Is it a newer model of worship? A new set of instructions? The latest innovation in religious technology? A handbook of tips and skills and troubleshooting flowcharts? Do we need more inspirational pick-me-ups? Do Christians need more classes, more diplomas, more specialized training? Continue reading

January 6 Committee Targets GOP Donors Ahead of 2022 Elections

“The breadth and invasiveness of the Salesforce Subpoena is astounding. It seeks information on vast numbers of Republican donors, volunteers, supporters, and coalition members. If forced to comply, Salesforce would disclose records regarding whether and how individual RNC supporters have responded to emails…reacted to specific political messaging, signed any RNC petitions, completed any surveys on specific issues and policy proposals, or responded to specific fundraising appeals….”

(Julie Kelly – American Greatness) Judge Timothy J. Kelly and his colleagues on the D.C. District Court have acted as little more than rubber stamps for the Justice Department’s abusive prosecution of January 6 defendants. As I reported last month, Kelly, a Trump appointee, continues to hold six nonviolent Capitol protesters behind bars while allowing the Biden regime to delay trial dates and skirt its discovery obligations. Elon Musk’s Tesla to Cover Travel Costs for Employees Seeking Out-of-State Abortions

Baby at 15 weeks. babycenter screenshot

“Citi, Uber, Lyft, Salesforce, Levi’s, Yelp, and Bumble are also among the companies rising up to ensure that unborn babies with beating hearts can be destroyed efficiently and without inconvenience.”

(Alana Mastrangelo – Breitbart) Elon Musk’s Tesla is covering travel costs for employees who get out-of-state abortions, joining the ranks of several other companies that have introduced similar reimbursement policies in the wake of multiple states passing pro-life legislation. Continue reading
