27 Then Peter said to Him, “Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us?” 28 And Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. God awoke this believer from a spiritual stupor in 2004. From my rebirth in January 1986 through the end of 2003 I rode a roller coaster of faithfulness and backsliding to the point that I despaired of ever being able to be consistent in my walk…. Continue reading
(R.C. Sproul) Does it matter whether the Bible is errant or inerrant, fallible or infallible, inspired or uninspired? What’s all the fuss about the doctrine of inerrancy? Why do Christians debate this issue? What difference does an inerrant Bible make?
“Typical liberal ‘do as I say, not as I do. This is what socialism looks like.”
(Protestia) A pastor in Chicago has finally put some meat on the bones of reparation theology; doing what so many others that have demanded it have refused to do: give specific examples of what ought to be done and what sort of measures ought to be practically implemented by the government in order to grant reparations to black folk.
“4 out of 9 speakers at this conference are Trinity-deniers and at least two of the men that aren’t are unrepentant rogues with explosively troubling personal lives. And they think they can bring Revival to America?”
The report concluded “the reliance on loyal confidants regardless of their official role in State government” was one of several key factors in creating an environment “where the Governor’s sexually harassing conduct was allowed to flourish and persist.”
“We’re living in an era of history where it’s unpopular to call out the wolves and warn God’s people of error and danger. That work is often viewed as insensitive, mean-spirited, and rude. In order to be a popular pastor in our day, you must be engaging in your personality, willing to entertain people, and always be positive. Interestingly enough, that might work in the world of insurance sales, but it doesn’t pass muster when it comes to the calling of a pastor.”
“People experience a range of public conversations on Twitter every day, and we’re committed to continuing our work to elevate credible information and context.”
(Julie Kelly – American Greatness) Larry Dunn began his testimony last week before the January 6 select committee by asking for a moment of silence in honor of Brian Sicknick.
And while US health authorities are pressing Americans in “high transmission” areas to mask up, Sweden dropped its last remaining mask recommendation – related to public transport – on July 1.
Remember when governments said that they needed 70% herd immunity or vaccination to stop the lockdowns and mandates? The goalposts have been moves several times and the government “science” changes monthly. Now they claim herd immunity doesn’t matter and demand 100% vaccination….We must ask the question again – Why the relentless government push for total vaccine saturation? It’s not saving lives, and the mandates remain regardless, so why?
“Proponents of the vaccine are unwilling or unable to understand the thinking of vaccine skeptics — or even admit that skeptics may be thinking at all. Their attempts to answer skepticism or understand it end up poisoned by condescension, and end up reinforcing it.”
“Macron is basically telling people, you either take the jab or you lose any shot at a normal life.”
(OneNewsNow) Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has called on other states to join the efforts to restore integrity of U.S. elections. In a statement on Saturday, Brnovich said Democrats and left wing activists have abused U.S. election laws for many years.
(Don & Joy Veinot – Midwest Christian Outreach) As human beings, we cannot know the heart of another. We certainly do not know someone’s spiritual condition as it relates to the Lord. However, determining whether individual Progressives are Christian is a completely different question than determining if Progressive Christianity is Christian. This is hardly a new issue. In his excellent 1923 book, Christianity and Liberalism, J. Gresham Machen compared and contrasted historic Christian teachings with those of theological liberals. At times he would say liberals are religious but not Christian. He didn’t speak to individual salvation but rather the overall doctrines in essential areas. In the Introduction he commented on why these sorts of questions are important.
Lucado preached a heretical view of the Holy Spirit…referring to the Holy Spirit as a female, referring to Him as “the mother heart of God.”
(Chris Menahan – Information Liberation) Pfizer’s mRNA injection that we were told earlier this month was “99% effective” in preventing symptomatic COVID-19
“Walensky’s mistake is commonly made by laypeople who misunderstand the implications of scientific jargon. But Walensky is not a layperson. She is charged with the critical task of explaining the latest scientific evidence and justifying CDC recommendations. She did neither.”
Need to read articles you may have missed this week…
“President Biden has no strategy to stop the border madness and little ability to persuade anti-vaxxers. Therefore, when yet another strain of Covid gathered strength, the federal government had no coherent response. The result is the foolish and destructive panic we are seeing now.”
(Ben Johnson – Daily Wire) As Congress heard testimony about the January 6 Capitol riot, a reporter with The New York Times branded all supporters of former President Donald Trump “enemies of the state.”
(Eric Lendrum – American Greatness) It has been determined that one of the studies used by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to justify the strict new mask mandates was not only rejected by peer review, but was also based on a vaccine that is currently not authorized for use in the United States, the
