“Jacob” trusts the people who tell her she can become a boy. But these people support pumping her young body with testosterone and “puberty-blocking” hormones that could give her a disease — hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. If the human body does not produce enough of the right sex hormones, the brain and other organs do not develop normally. Even if “Jacob” decides not to get irreversible surgery to remove her female organs, these hormones will cause her long-term damage.

It’s not easy being a “Christian Discerner” either. But, as Kermit sang, “I think it’s what I want to be.” Like the little green frog, I’m not standing out like flashy sparkles.  But I’m okay with that….because I think a discerner is what God wants me to be.

The Christian has been called by God to serve the Lord Jesus as His bondservant or slave (δοῦλος). This role of bondservant also includes being His obedient disciple and valiant warrior. I grew up in an era in which there just was not much turmoil in the churches I was part of. The pastor was considered the one who should take moral stands on issues and proclaim the truth to those in darkness, but the rest of the folks in the church did not consider themselves soldiers of Christ Jesus except when they sang songs such as Onward Christian Soldiers…. New Bill Would Require Reports on Babies Born Alive After Abortions and Left to Die

Data that the CDC collects also confirms babies are born alive after attempted abortions.  Between the years 2003 and 2014 there were somewhere between 376 and 588 infant deaths under the medical code P96.4 which keeps track of babies born alive after a “termination of pregnancy.”
