America Dealing With Insurrection, Not Media-Described Unrest

The visceral hatred of the “Resistance” toward the president has shifted to the hatred of the 63 million who voted for America’s 45th, and the hatred won’t stop until they get their way.

(Judi McLeod) June 2, 2020: Americans woke up this morning following the seventh consecutive night of looting, rioting; injured citizens and injured police officers trying to protect the wanton destruction of small businesses, including some of those operated by minorities—all media-described as “unrest”.

But it is not “unrest” that Americans are waking up to this morning but galvanized “insurrection”—an organized and orchestrated insurrection at that. Continue reading

American Cities Take Double-Barreled Hit; How Will They Look in the Future?

Rod Dreher of The American Conservative wrote a post titled “The iPad Thieves,” which began with video of a Muslim-immigrant-owned computer store in Minneapolis being looted…before concluding with a look at the riots and looting in Manhattan. Dreher concluded, “When I moved to New York City in 1998, it was so, so common to hear people say that Rudy Giuliani, who had been elected in 1994, had made such a difference in the life of the city. ‘You can’t imagine what it was like before,’ they would say. That was a long time ago. Now, it’s back to the 1980s.”

(Ed Driscoll – PJ Media) The June issue of Commentary, likely assembled in early-to-mid-May, contained an article written by John Podhoretz and illustrated by Daniel Rose headlined “The Empty City.”… Continue reading

Carl Lentz’s Family Participating in Anti-Police Riots

Lentz proudly posted the video, taken by his daughter, on Instagram. Note that he calls the insane and ineffectual, hysterical ranting “preaching.”

(PNP) The hipster Hillsong pastor in New York City, Carl Lentz, is helping to contribute to the delinquency of his daughter by letting her take part in mob behavior and verbal assaults against the police. Continue reading

The Media Are Lying To You About Everything, Including The Riots

“On Sunday, as American cities were burning and looters were rampaging through the streets, Lemon implored America, “Open your eyes. We are teetering on a dictatorship.” He didn’t mean a dictatorship of the mob, which would have actually made sense given the facts. No, for Lemon and his CNN colleagues the real threat is Trump, who had the audacity to declare that if mayors and governors couldn’t get their cities under control, he would.”

(John Daniel Davidson – The Federalist)  It seems no great event or upheaval in our national life can pass now without the media lying to our faces about it. Continue reading

The ‘Institutional Racism’ Canard

“As Heather Mac Donald relates in an insightful  Wall Street Journal op-ed, blacks make up only a quarter of the total number of people killed in police shootings annually, a ratio that has held steady since 2015. The reigning canard, however, is that this 25 percent figure proves racism since African Americans make up just 13 percent of the U.S. population.”

(Andrew McCarthy – National Review) About twice as many white people as black people are killed by police. In fact, in about 75 percent of police shootings, the decedent is not black.

Of course, that is not what you would grasp from consuming media. Continue reading

How Universities Inject Toxic Anti-Americanism Into Students

“Universities celebrate non-Western authors who attack Western Civilization. Throughout the latter part of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, the toast of universities, the recognized king of the new anti-American truth, was Edward Said, an immigrant from Egypt who claimed Palestinian ethnicity. Raised to a professorship at one of America’s elite universities, he used his platform to vilify Western Civilization.”

(PJ Media – Philip Carl Salzman)  Behind the anti-American hate seen in the current rioting, arson, and looting is the long term undermining of America carried out systematically in our universities…. Continue reading

The Passion Translation author’s heretical views about Christ’s return

“Brian Simmons– What about the clouds? Jesus is coming, Greek is meta nephele, He’s coming, meta nephele, within clouds. He’s coming within clouds. Not on clouds. Within clouds. Eight times in the Bible, CLOUDS ARE PEOPLE.”

(John Lanagan – The World Like Fire) An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land: The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule on their own authority; And my people love it so! But what will you do at the end of it? (Jeremiah 5:30) Continue reading

Get Up Off Your Knees

“Turn off CNN and tune into the facts on the ground. At least 25 Philadelphia cops have been hurt during mob violence this week. It’s an all-out war on the thin blue line. At least 150 cops have been assaulted — four nearly murdered — in New York City as of Tuesday afternoon. Two Buffalo, New York, law enforcement officers were run over late Monday night. In addition, 51 members of the U.S. Park Police were injured; a Cincinnati cop was grazed by a bullet aimed at his head…”

Laura Ingraham: Violence Is ‘A Coordinated Effort to Eventually Overthrow the U.S. Government’

“Americans are loving people, but they’ve had enough. They had enough of lockdowns and now they’ve had enough of lootings. It’s time to defend our founding principles, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We do this with respect for our fellow man, with our love of God, and our belief in the inherent goodness of mankind…”

(CNS News)  Fox News’s Laura Ingraham lives in Washington, D.C., and on Sunday night, she said she witnessed some of the rioting, including the arson at the historic St. John’s church. Continue reading

Maoist thugs target Christians, with support from Justice Roberts

The four dissenting justices…said the California restrictions were clearly discriminatory. The dissenting opinion noted, “In response to the COVID–19 health crisis, California has now limited attendance at religious worship services to 25% of building capacity or 100 attendees, whichever is lower. The basic constitutional problem is that comparable secular businesses are not subject to a 25% occupancy cap, including factories, offices, supermarkets, restaurants, retail stores, pharmacies, shopping malls, pet grooming shops, bookstores, florists, hair salons, and cannabis dispensaries.”

(Cliff Kincaid – Renew America) With all that’s happening in the United States and the world, you may have missed the ruling from our “conservative” Supreme Court on May 29…. Continue reading

Will Rioting Arsonists Remember Planned Parenthood’s War on Blacks?

“The statistics don’t lie. Black women are only 13% of the female population in the United States but make up 35% of aborting mothers. In the inner city, up to half of the black babies conceived are killed by largely white abortion doctors who pump millions of dollars into advertising their services in black media publications.”

(PNP) As lawless criminals dishonor the memory of George Floyd be victimizing innocent people and terrorizing whole cities, arsonists have had a field day setting buildings across the inner cities ablaze…. Continue reading

New Flynn Transcripts Confirm Mueller Team Lied To The Court And The Country

“The transcripts released Friday establish that, contrary to the special counsel office’s attestation, Flynn never asked the Russian ambassador to “not escalate the situation and only respond to the U.S. Sanctions in a reciprocal manner.” In fact, Flynn never raised the “U.S. Sanctions” — defined by the special counsel’s office as the sanctions announced by Obama Dec. 28, 2016, in Executive Order 13757 — with the Russian ambassador at all.”

(Margo Cleveland – The Federalist)  Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office deceived the country and a federal court about former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s late-December 2016 conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak…. Continue reading

There Is No Such Thing as Virtual Lord’s Supper

“The Lord’s Supper, like baptism, is not a private event. It’s public and is one of the two ordinances given to God’s Church. In 1 Corinthians 10:17, Paul writes these words, “Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.” The church publicly gathered in the presence of one another are called to be served together from the same bread—indicating their unity in Christ. This cannot be accomplished as a pastor looks at a camera and gives directions to people in their homes. The assembly of God’s people is necessitated in order to fulfill God’s plan for the Lord’s Supper.”

(Josh Buice – Delivered By Grace) One of the most intimate services we will hold until we dwell in the presence of our God in eternity is the Lord’s Supper. It points us to the body and blood of Jesus which unites us together in love and directs our attention to the promise of Jesus’ triumphant return when our King shall descend in glory. So, what about COVID-19 communion? Continue reading

A specter is haunting America — the specter of socialism

The conservatives and libertarians keep chanting, “Socialism doesn’t work,” and they produce charts and tables to prove it. The socialists glance over the charts and tables and then they clamor for more socialism. They don’t care about data because no amount of data can refute a dream. The socialist mantra is, “We don’t care if it hasn’t worked. We will figure out a way to make it work.”  The critics are focused on yesterday, while the socialists are all about tomorrow. Owen Jones expresses this futuristic hope, “A socialist society…doesn’t exist yet, but one day it must.”

(Dinesh D’Souza – Breitbart)  We have gotten a nasty preview of it during the Coronavirus epidemic.  We’ve experienced empty shelves, food shortages, limits on what you can buy, and also the attack on civil liberties, on freedom of assembly, on religious liberty, on privacy. So we’ve endured on a temporary basis what, under socialism, we are likely to endure on a permanent basis. The Passion Translation author: ‘We are the Reincarnation of Jesus Christ’

“The Revelation 12 Virgin Bride will give birth to a Man-Child company. a corporate expression, one has become the many, the seed has now fallen into the ground and died but is now bearing many seeds, there’s a many seeded Christ.”

(John Lanagan – The Word Like Fire)  “We are the Word made flesh again. We are the Reincarnation of Jesus Christ.”

“Christ is no longer a man. He’s a people. You and I carry like Mary. We will bring forth the Christ. The Second Coming is the Becoming of the Lord.” Continue reading

Lessons from COVID: Death is Certain

…through the Coronavirus, God is awakening in our consciences the reality that death is certain. The crowds come to Jesus for an explanation of these two tragedies. But He turns to the crowds, and, as it were, He turns to us and says, in effect, “These have already died. Time is up for them. What about you? Don’t you realize that your death is certain? Are you ready to face it?”

(Mike Riccardi – The Cripplegate)  The Coronavirus has taken us all by surprise. January and February seem like a lifetime ago, and who could have predicted then how drastically our world would change in just a matter of weeks?… Continue reading

EXPLAINED: The scandal at Al Mohler’s Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

“Mohler’s actions toward Fuller, Dr. Jim Orrick and Dr. Mark Coppenger speaks volumes about Mohler’s commitment to truth. Mohler weeded out conservative voices and promoted voices spewing the talking points of Identity Politics.”

(Capstone Report)  The scandal rocking Al Mohler’s Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) threatens Mohler’s legacy. It has exposed him as a political dissembler—a man willing to force desperate former employees turned out of work during the height of the Coronavirus Pandemic to sign a secret NDA muzzling them for life. 5 Myths About The Armor Of God

This assumption, however, misses the fact that each of the pieces of armor that Paul describes has a rich background in the Old Testament, where they quite literally describe “God’s Armor”: the armor that God himself dons to rescue his people. It is the Old Testament and not the Roman legionary that provided Paul with his inspiration—and if we miss this background, we may easily misinterpret and misapply the various pieces of the armor.

Myth #1: Life is a picnic.  Even though all the evidence is to the contrary, we often seem to believe that life here on earth is—or at least ought to be—easy. In reality, however, life is hard—often very, very hard…. Continue reading

Pixar Short Animated Film ‘Out’ on Disney+ Features Studio’s First Homosexual Main Character

According to viewers, the production includes a scene depicting the two men kissing. Because of such, the film might be rated PG-13 and not viewable by smaller children without parental permission in households where the account has been set to “kids profile.”

(Heather Clark – Christian News)  Calling the story “heartwarming,” Disney+ announced on Thursday the release of a new Pixar short film, which centers on the story of a man named Greg who is nervous about revealing to his parents that he is in a relationship with another man. While some have praised the production, others lament that such material aims to normalize sin in impressionable minds. Jen Hatmaker Says ‘LGBTQ Christians’ Preach in Her Church, Calls For Mass Exodus of Conservative Denoms

“Hatmaker conflates freedom in Christ with freedom to sin. Her version of “freedom” is actually a bondage to sin — an inability to escape sin and its consequences — and she inflicts this eternal damnation upon those who need to be set free.”

(Jeff Maples – Reformation Charlotte)  Jen Hatmaker, who first publicly renounced Christianity in an interview with Jonathan Merritt — a gay activist and son of former Southern Baptist Convention president, James Merritt — and says she first questioned Evangelical Christianity because gay people couldn’t have sex with each other, is now calling for a mass exodus from conservative, biblical denominations. Why Joe Biden can do no wrong

“Critics have expressed disgust at Trump saying that he could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and would not lose any voters. Yet they now afford Biden the same immunity even if he starts snacking on boiled babies.”

(Jonathan Turley – The Hill)   One columnist declared that Joe Biden could boil babies but she would still vote for him. Feminist leaders said they believe he raped a Senate staffer but they still endorse him…. Continue reading

A short guide to justifying re-lockdown: Or why the media is so desperate to turn good COVID-19 news into bad

“Expect the following additional strategies this summer, besides the creative massaging of good tidings into bad.”

(Heather Mac Donald – American Spectator)  Fear is gripping the American public health and media establishments: they are losing control. States are belatedly (and far too tentatively) easing their coronavirus lockdowns, many without having met the absurd CDC benchmarks for doing so. Customers are joyfully returning to previously shuttered restaurants and parks, some even discarding that symbol of subjugation: the outdoor mask. Continue reading
