As I pointed out in an piece I penned last year (link below), a lot of professing Christians don’t realize that practicing Mormons, who have a different Jesus than the Jesus in the Bible, are involved in the production of The Chosen. And that should concern Bible believing Christians. Why? Because Mormonism is a theological cult, which means Mormons are not true Christians. Mormons are counterfeit Christians. And yet Dallas Jenkins chose to yoke with unbelievers to assist in the production of his tv series. Paul deals with this issue in 2 Corinthians: “What partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?” 2 Cor 6:14-15 In spite of Paul’s clear teaching, Mr. Jenkins joined forces with those who live in darkness.
