(Christian News) The Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives passed the controversial Equality Act in a 224-206 vote on Thursday despite growing concerns over how the legislation would affect religious liberty, women’s sports, as well as other concerns. The bill now heads to the Senate for consideration.

The NAR maintain that they are modern day “apostles” and “prophets.” People who are involved in this movement place a greater emphasis on dreams, visions and extra-biblical revelation than they do on the scriptures. Many leaders in this cult, yes, it’s a cult, declare that they experience visits by angels, some of them even claim they’ve had face-to-face conversations with the Lord Jesus. According to John MacArthur the NAR “is a rapidly expanding movement being generated by some of the same old troubling false teachers and false leaders that have been around in Charismania for decades, always dishonoring the Holy Spirit, always dishonoring the Scripture, always claiming miracle signs, wonders, visions, dreams.”

I never use the word “liberal” to describe the statist, pro-cancel-culture totalitarian left because the word doesn’t fit what they actually are. There’s nothing “liberal” about people who want to control every aspect of your life, including how much oxygen you can breathe in public. They are not “liberal” by any stretch of the imagination, nor do they support free speech as true liberals do. The American left cancels speech through firebombing or rioting or whatever other violent activities they regularly engage in to shut down free speech in America. (See any speech given by Ann Coulter or Milo Yiannopoulos on college campuses.)

At least 100,000 attended Trump’s speech that day; fewer than 1,000 “stormed” the Capitol. A few hundred have been arrested and only 14 face weapons charges. Those “deadly and dangerous” weapons include two baseball bats, a can of pepper spray, a walking stick/stun gun, an axe, a few fire extinguishers…a helmet, a riot shield, and a collapsible baton. And at no time did this random weaponry pose a lethal threat to lawmakers inside the Capitol.
