1 And you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom we all also formerly conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. Ephesians 2:1-3 (LSB)
I have been to many funerals in my 72 years. The hard ones are for those who were young and it seemed that they had not had the time to do anything in this life….
Of course the hardest ones are of those we were sure were not believers. On the other hand, there have been those who were Christians who we served with for many years and some who came to the Lord as they neared their end. For instance, I led my uncle to the Lord the day before he died. What a difference that made at that funeral! Several years ago my nephew Travis developed brain cancer and eventually died from it. He was a good Christian man. I remember his funeral being more of a celebration than something mournful. Also, we had a good friend at our church who battled brain cancer for over a year and ended up in hospice for several weeks before he died. He was a godly man. His funeral was somewhat sad because we all will miss him, but it was not a tragic thing for us nor for his family for he was much beloved and was a solid Christian leader. At his funeral many shared how his life had impacted them to draw them into a closer walk with the Lord. Yes there was weeping, but not that mournful thing.
“These leftwing loons have power in New York, so it’s no bail, no responsibility, no protection for civilians or police. The streets simmer with criminality. Good people are brutalized every day.”
(Scott Powell – The Patriot Post) From the beginning of recorded history, people have turned to religion as a way to find refuge, solace, and meaning. Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, and most other religions point to their own prophets and teachers, but among those world religions, only Christianity has a founder who professed to be the Messiah — the Son of God. Easter is the historical account and conclusive evidence of that Messiah.
“Easter is the holiest day of the year for Christians, and Biden choosing to wax on about a lunatic leftist agenda “holiday” instead is disgusting. That he chose Good Friday to do it shows that he isn’t really Catholic at all and that he doesn’t have any real people of faith in his inner circle. That was beyond tone-deaf. It was a display of contempt for Christians.”
“In June 2023, the White House held an event for “LGBTQI+ families,” during which transgender activist Rose Montoya and other transgender activists flashed their bare chests. The White House has even pushed transgenderism on children.”
(Robb Brunsnsky – The Cripplegate) This month, we are starting a series entitled Suffering Servant, Risen Lord, as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Over the next several weeks, we will look at different passages of Scripture relating to the purpose of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

(Robert Spencer – PJ Media) Despite mail-in voting and ballot harvesting and a host of other perfectly legal ways to tilt the playing field, could Old Joe Biden actually lose in November? If a Tuesday New York Times story is to be believed, the answer is a resounding yes, and among the most worried is the senescent corruptocrat’s old friend and mentor, Barack Obama.
“Today, secularism manifests in such ways that were unthinkable throughout history. From parents handing their children over en masse to drag queens to millions of women marching in the streets to protect the right to kill their own children. Secularism is as unnatural as it is horrific.”
(Ray Fava – Evangelical Dark Web) Al Mohler has been around for a long time in the Southern Baptist Convention and has had a tremendous impact on how the SBC got to where it is today. For better or worse, Al Mohler has had many position changes in his career relating to liberalism, feminism, homosexuality, and a stated position on Critical Race Theory. However, recently Al Mohler has changed his stance on abortion and whether a woman is morally and should be criminally culpable for it.
“This represents the usual attempt to downplay the sinfulness of same-sex marriage by redefining it as a Christian ordinance rather than a Creation ordinance. It suggests that God’s teachings on marriage are only applicable within the realm of Christianity.”

(Joel B. Pollack – Breitbart) Hamas is reportedly refusing to accept Israel’s terms for a hostage deal and digging in on its demands after the Biden administration refused to veto a United Nations Security Council resolution on Monday calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
“The change might seem small, but it would put Ireland in the position of attempting to be the first nation in history to eliminate from its governing language words that describe objective realities about people.”
