CRN has compiled a list of professing Christians to keep an eye on. The list contains churches, movements, organizations, groups, pseudo-Christian cults, woke individuals, those who are deconstructing the long held beliefs of historic, orthodox, biblical Christianity and “frauds, phonies and money-grubbing religious quacks”; likewise, heretics, apostates and false teachers you’ll want to mark and avoid as per Romans 16:17-18 which says: I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.”
Paul warns in Galatians 1:7, “Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.” People who pervert the gospel will pay dearly. Here’s what false teachers are in for: “If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” Galatians 1:9
Jude also deals with counterfeit Christians: “They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.” Jude 11
In Matthew 7:15-20 the Lord Jesus gave His followers fair warning that we would recognize phonies by their fruits: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”

Jesus Calling Endorsers
Bud Ahlheim put together a list of several high-profile Christians who’ve endorsed the best-selling book Jesus Calling. The thing that’s most troubling about any Christian who touts Jesus Calling is that doing so indicates a lack of spiritual discernment. The author, Sarah Young, claims that she hears directly from Jesus Christ and “with pen in hand” she wrote down the words of the “Jesus” she channels….and then she shared this nonsense in a book. Tim Challies cautioned: “Jesus Calling makes the boldest, gutsiest, and, to my mind, most arrogant claim of any book ever to be considered Christian.” Here’s Bud’s list – some of these folks may surprise you:

(Matt Margolis – PJ Media) Hunter Biden was found guilty on three felony charges for illegally buying and possessing a gun while addicted to crack cocaine. Federal law expressly makes it illegal for individuals using illicit drugs to possess firearms. He could face 25 years in prison and fines for the conviction.
“The NY Times presented the horror from the Palestinian viewpoint. It was “unimaginable.” Somehow, the fact that Hamas used them as human shields never came up. WaPo talked about the “wall of fire,” and CNN regurgitated the Times article.”

Damaging young people mentally and physically to help them pretend to be transgender is not evidence-based and should be rejected as a treatment method.
(Breitbart) Audrey Hale, the 28-year-old woman who believed she was a man and shot and killed six at a Nashville Christian school on March 27, 2023, wanted to return home after the attack and kill her father.

“There are no ‘queer’ identities,” said prolific truth-teller James Lindsey, referencing the actual meaning of the term. “A person cannot *be* queer…It’s only possible to *act* queer, which is an oppositionally defiant political stance taken on as a personal identity…It’s choosing to be functionally personality disordered and thinking it’s your true self.”
“Whatever words Shirer and Lucado express in this Easter message that sound biblical are rendered hollow by the association with modalist T. D. Jakes. It is against Scripture to treat a false teacher like Jakes as though he is a brother in Christ, and to appear to be in theological agreement with him. Teachers are held to a higher standard; therefore, it is only biblical to warn about Shirer and Lucado because they are not trustworthy teachers. They either do not have discernment, or they fail to exercise it, or they have no issues with modalism.”

(The Dissenter) The Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) industry is a modern-day embodiment of false worship and idolatry—mooching off the name of Christ to launch careers, only to end up apostatizing, blaspheming Him, and supporting the very things God abhors, like homosexuality, abortion, and more. This industry is a prime example of how worship can become a shallow veneer—think of a gold-plated apple that’s rotten to the core—masking a reality of self-indulgence and rebellion against God’s holiness.
